The Clap

Dec 4, 2014, 2:39 PM

Why did Cole clap for the snap and DW doesn't?

I always felt the Clap was an advantage for the defense to time the snap.

Quit spreading rumors about Cole having the clap.

Watson claps as well. And sometimes we don't snap on it.***

kidding aside

They both use it, it's a situational thing not a qb thing.

Maybe Cole was always in the same spot since I don't remember DW doing it as much.

Which situation do they clap?

before the play there's a designated count until the snap. The clap signifies that the QB is ready and the count begins. Alternatively, the leg hitch can be used in the same way.
