They may as well just say it simply:

If clemson wins Alabama is out and SMU is in

If Boise loses and Clemson wins, both SMU and Bama are in

If SMU wins Bama is in

Miami must have SMU win and Boise lose....that is there only shot.

Ole Miss, South Carolina and anyone else not in there conference championship other than Miami and Bama have zero shot.

The Big 12 champ will push Miami out regardless.

If we win that should push Bama out (SMU in) and if Boise loses UNLV replaces them. I believe 1-10 are safe.

Believe for sure they at least shouldn’t review a prior play after the next play is run…

Your point is valid in that the only way the acc gets 2 in is to have Clemson win

Far be it from me to advocate for the coots but the chairman kept saying there would be no new data points for the teams not playing Saturday. SOS and SOR are data points which are dynamic based on what teams on your schedule do.

Logically it doesn’t make sense to say everyone not playing is locked into their position relative to the other teams not playing. Probably unlikely they would change but he shouldn’t outright preclude it.

how do you beat the 12th ranked team on their field but only move up one spot? and even so by that logic we lose to the 15th ranked team by a last second td and drop 7. ohio loses to a 5-6 team at home by 10 and drops 4
