So yes it is possible if you find it.

Cagle was signed by “athletes unlimited”. I’m not exactly sure what that means as far as actually playing softball

McKenzie Clark is playing on a team in the AU Softball League. Valerie signed with them after she finished at Clemson, but is not currently listed as an active player.

Last I'd heard, the Japanese professional softball league was an industrial league meaning that the players are employees of the company and work full time doing something, maybe on an assembly line, in addition to their sport.

Japan had pro basketball league like this and a couple of NC State players including Corchiani played there and wrote about it.

Athletes Unlimited is starting a new pro league. 4 teams will tour the nation and then settle in a city for next season. Caroline Jacobsen and McKenzie Clark were drafted, but I did not see Cagle listed, so don't know if she's still playing?

Based on Instagram, it looks like she is going to be playing a season in The Netherlands. The season runs from this week to mid-June. The team website is below. She's not on the roster yet, but she's in the team picture.

AU Softball. Athletes Unlimited. She’s getting paid. She was the number one overall pick. Average salary is around $40k but many make seven figures including endorsements.
