Why not? It is no further from here to there as it is from there to here.

2 Issues here.
It will be hard to find a team that will trade in 20MM for 15-16MM.
And, I think I remember that the big 12 members had to sign over 6 years of their TV rights to the conference, so they bring very little over with them

I'm not a 100% sure on this but I think that goes into effect when the new deal is signed

Get Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and roll the dice for the forth (who cares). Then tell ESPN, if you want it, its gonna cost you. Rip the current contract up and start with a clean sheet of paper.

Duke winning a national championship in football stands a better chance than that ever happening.

I thought of that. IMO the ACC with OU and OSU is stronger

than the Big 12 with FSU and ?Louisville. Could renegotiate the contract.

only Clemson, FSU, Miami and Georgia Tech are in the unique position of being at a distinct financial disadvantage when compared to other in-state universities (i.e., $CU, Florida and Georgia).
This is not a problem faced by BC, Maryland, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Duke, Wake, NC State or UNC.
