The ACC is doing the right thing

Apr 23, 2013, 7:00 AM

The ACC was caught sleeping a little but it's nice to see them protecting their future. The GOR was a good thing. And I think it's good we did not leave. From the beginning I said staying was best and I'm glad we did. I don't care that the sec gets more football recognition right now, this could change dramatically over time. The ACC has all the tools to become a football power. I think things will only get better n I think Maryland will regret its move.

All I can say is that ND home game sure did cost us a lot.

I don't think it is a coincidence that the ACC threw FSU & Clemson home games with ND in the first two years of the deal then turned around the next week and asked us to commit to them for 15 years. I just hope it all works out. I guess we can always sue the ACC in 8 years if the ACC media deal fails to live up expectations and puts us at a disadvantage.
