Combine to become ONE Super Conference ...
- Current contracts are null and void because of the dissolution aka "going away"
- They then relaunch as ONE, call it the All Coast Conference (working name for now)
- New Mega Gazillion contract is then negotiated, go with Fox Sports, the heck with ESPN
- Its a 34 team Conference ... Challenges
a) Its too big at 34. Thusly its split into TWO Divisions, East and West. 17 teams a piece
b) There will be TWO Champions, the East Champion and the West Champion note: Think Roman Empire, Rome and Constantimople (present day Istanbul)
c) These two Champions never play each other, not enough time HOWEVER the two DO go to the CFP automatically
d) Occasional inter-divsion games, but really you spend the vast majority of time in your own 'hood. Say one game a year cross division
e) Sorry, no more cupcakes. All games in Conference, cross division maybe a game or so cross Conference ie the annual Fighting Chickens Game. say 9 in division, 1 cross Division, 2 out of Conference FBS (option)

The number of teams a super conference does not make. The quality of play, number of eyeballs watching the TV and big stadiums with rabid fans are ingredients needed. Combine those two conferences and there still won't be much demand for their product.

push propaganda for both those conference non stop is a big factor. its like in teh playoff..who wanted to see texas vs clemson when you could have watched the exceptional "main event" match up between ohio state and tennessee that night?

I was saying big 12, pac 12 and ACC should’ve done this couple years ago.
Structure the league like the NFL, collective, bargaining, minimum salaries, professional, contract, negotiations, players will have solid contracts unlike SEC Big Ten.
Not too hard to structure this in a way so it’s much more attractive to players compared to what SEC Big Ten currently offer

The current contract is only null (goes away) IF the ACC dissolves. Now, when the ACC combines with another Conference, the B12, it become a new, bigger entity. This kills the argument that you can't just declare yourself then reappear to get out of a contract.

You still have the same teams that currently comprise two conferences, except now they are organized into two divisions of one conference. How does this improve anyone’s standing? Eliminating one conference champion?
That’s like saying a dollar bill is worth more than 20 nickels.

I like that idea as long as both conferences drop the light weights. ACC: UVA,VT,UNC, NCSU,Clemson,GT, FSU and Miami combined with tHe Big 12's Utah, BYU, Arizona, ASU, Colorado, TCU, Texas Tech, Baylor, Oklahoma State, KState, Kansas, Iowa State and WVU.

Forget how good they are in Football (btw Houston is VERY good) you have to look at demographics, number of eyeballs. HUGE population centers, yuge potential audience. Those stats is what brings in the dinero, not School X has really good wide receivers and thus more worthy
