Because its known Dabo is giving up salary for assistants which no supposedly major conf. Head coach should ever have to do.

Putting the best prepared players on the field, and winning means more to Dabo than making Millions. With Dabo, its about doing the best for his players. And before its all said and done, it is going to pay him back double. Dabo maybe the next God father of college coaching like the OLD A$$ spurhead.

You do realize that if we are indeed joining the Big XII, the people that approve these hires did so because we have planned for the extra $$ coming in. One huge benefit of that big XII money would be hiring a large support staff.
On the flip side we did get an extra 1.6 mill this year from the ACC for having 2 BCS bowl teams.

including myself, will think any less of him for leaving. This guy is a head coach in the making, I just hope he sticks around till his daughter graduates, but if a top 30 program comes knocking, he's gone.
