Not sure what you're asking for?

You don't need to be a cable subscriber to get ESPN3. It is based on your internet provider. WatchESPN on the other hand is based o your TV provider.

They are accessed from the same page but you don't have to log into ESPN3 if you click on their programming.

Time Warner gets ESPN3

Once again, ESPN3 is based on your INTERNET provider, not your TV provider.
Going back to my first question: Are you clicking on a non ESPN3 event that has a "key" symbol next to it or are you selecting an actual ESPN3 event?

Try this link:

http://espn.go.com/watchespn/index?
Click on:
11:00 AM EDT Arthur Ashe - Maria Sharapova (RUS)[3] vs. Marion Bartoli (FRA)[11] (Men's Round of 16/Women's Quarterfinals)
Is that still giving you problems?

done, but WatchESPN is a way to was ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, and ESPN3 off your computer or tablet. It is based off your TV provider.
ESPN3 is a separate channel that is available via your internet provider. I've had problems like that before and I've had to try a couple different things to get it to work.
The main thing is you should not be getting that message if you only want to use ESPN3.

have someone that you know who can login with their cable or internet provider if they can use espn3. Have them set their account for Remote Access. Then you should be able to log in from your computer with their ID and password

It's free and carries almost every game that is on. That's what I use - no cable or satellite here. Why bother when I can get it for free?
