Very cool. In the replay you see an older gentleman caught the ball, then this girl ran up to him immediately. He gave her the ball without a thought.

Thanks for the complement but did you have to call me "older"? Ouch. LOL. I guess 63 is older. I actually got her first homerun ball as well and gave it to another girl who came from Columbia to see her first Clemson game and whose dream is to play softball at Clemson. Go Tigers!!

I bet it was a good feeling to make a kid's day. And twice in one game was even better. I did notice that both homers went to about the same spot.
And I'm about the same age as you (turned 64 a couple of weeks ago), so being called "older" is ouchy lol.

That was so sweet. Great game. Memories for a lifetime.
A rarity in softball where each team racks up 9 hits each and the only scoring is via the solo long ball. Time for softball to copy baseball and play an early season series... without the neutral site.
