Brad very much confuses me

Looking at a few of the teams he has coached in his time at Clemson, they’ve been Final 4 tier. Mainly meaning 2017 and this year.
There’s been a lot of talent come and play for Brad, and I feel like all of our teams could have been just as good as the one this year. So why haven’t they? Why has Brad gotten to the big dance only 3 times?
I’m starting to think differently about Brownell folks. It’s a sort of built respect for all the crap Brad has had to ignore. Given, all of the crap he’s received has been warranted. But he’s been here 13 years, and I’m starting to think he’s our guy for good.

How do you determine if a team is final 4 tier? If using recruiting rankings we are not close.
All of his teams could have been as good as this team? Dont do drugs

Okay maybe not all of his teams.
But talking about Final 4 good, I mean in the way March works. Different teams do good in the year and all of that, but when the main tournament begins you just see all of the pressure crack down on players and the “good” teams will lose. So I think the 2017 team was good enough to get all the way to the Final, we just had to play Kansas of course. But we seriously could have won that game.

We were absolutely getting trounced by that Kansas team and caught them sleeping to make a late run they couldn’t turn back because they had already moved on in their minds.

We lost by 4. Whatever the reasoning, we would have won if we happened to get 5 more free throws, or 2 more made shots in the game.
“Caught them sleeping”? I guarantee they weren’t sleeping in a Sweet 16 game.

Your post has me confused. I am wondering is it tonque in cheek or is it crazytime.
Help me. Please list out all the talented players since 2017. I think this team looks like it has more talented basketball players, not just athletes, on it.
He does not have 5* players. He does not get many 4* players. He has done a good job of getting transfer players. He has helped develop some players.
But Clemson has not had a bevy of talent. I think they have lost people that may not have liked playing for CBB. That is a concern I always had for CBB: why were players leaving the program. But none of them really flourished anywhere else.

P.J. Hall - 2020 - No. 62 - Very Good.
Chase Hunter - 2019 - No. 105 - Talented, very dependable and solid at Clemson.
Donte Grantham - 2014 - No. 75 - Became solid, dependable
Aamir Simms - 2017 - No. 93 - Developed into something good at Clemson
Bernard Sullivan - 2011 - No. 83 - Transferred to an Atlantic 10 School
A.J. Oliver - 2016 - NR - Transferred to ODU. His Mom was fired by Clemson
Olivier-M. Prosper - 2020 - NR - Transferred to Marquette - avg 28 min, 12.6 pts per game

Why do you think there has been a lot of talent when we have 0 players in the NBA and haven't for a long time.
