I still think about if I had spent my 200k I got selling my house on BTC. It was 15k at the time on a huge dip from 50k. But I just couldn’t pull the trigger and instead bought a townhome cash I could rent out for income every month.
It would be worth 1.44 million today. Any other crypto is just a scam paying the developers. Maybe I’d buy ETH but that would be the only other one. I lost a lot of money on crypto buying pipe dreams. I don’t even dabble in it anymore but if I did it would only be BTC and ETH. Really just BTC

BTC is a store of wealth now just like gold.

It doesn’t have much use or inherent value just like gold. also like gold there is a finite amount produced every year and at some point the supply runs out.
Other crypto are mostly trash scams to make money for the developers. The white pages are ######## and worthless. I bought a million safemoon before it spiked ($500) and I sold it for 23 grand when it hyped. That same amount of safemoon now is worth about $3 and the developers are in prison. I’m just glad I sold when I did, the devs had billions of tokens they would sell for millions then tell us to buy the dip, acting like it was just some whale. The whale was the devs making 300 million dollars scamming people. They had all types of plans and barely any of it came to fruition.

Doge is just like internet cash now, solana is really about the network and if they can expand it with other tokens using said network. It needs use and gas fees for others using the solana network for solana to go up.
Is doge safe? Sure it’s pretty safe to park some cash. Solana I don’t believe in the same way. But anything in the top 5 market caps is prob a safe buy right now with this bull run. Just remember to sell it before the next bear market. Happens every 4 years w BTC bc of halfing .

I bought GBTC 2016 when you had to call and buy pink sheets on the floor. It was like 6 or 7/share. I didn't trust electronic wallets and was hearing horror stories of ######### forgetting encryption codes and throwing out hard drives worth 100k to millions in coins. So GBTC is a "safer" way to invest but smaller returns. Think of it as a gold/silver exchange but bit instead.
Dropped a good bit on it, little Pabsts entire college fund, im not kidding, and it had little movement until 2018. Then late 2018 it skyrocketed and I sold. Then took all I made and bought again at a big dip, then it hit again and I sold.
I didn't sleep for months. Only regret is I didn't borrow money to invest.
Block chain exchange was the way of the future, not sure now as I've stayed out of the loop. And to be honest I'm glad I'm out the anxiety was crazy.

But I didn't feel like trying to figure out what it was/how it worked/how to get a wallet so I said forget it. Granted, I didn't have much extra scratch lying around so I would have probably been in for only 1-3, but sometimes I think about "what if." But then I figure I would have probably sold when it hit the $9k mark, and I think selling at $9k would have been a far, far bigger gut-punch to dwell on than never buying in the first place -- so I consider myself better off with that decision.

r/cryptoscams. So...not very high on it. And, even less so with the absolute idiots who get hoodwinked on scams that always go: "This guy reached out to me on WhatsApp and got me trading on http:/crypto-gold-nugget-fartbuiscuit.notscam. Now he's ghosting me and I can't withdraw my gains unless I pay them a $14,000 fee. Is this a scam? He seemed like a nice dude - JGB"

Solana beats ethereum in pretty much every metric there is

Almost instant finality and extremely cheap fees. Ethereum is a dead chain walking.
I think Bitcoin is on the cusp of really taking off mainstream, everything else is a gamble. However, Solana offers a lot of functionality and speed...It will be awesome if it starts catching on for payment processing, which it might.
Check out Phantom Wallet and play around with it some, Jupiter is a nice cross chain exchange and you can earn like 7% staking Solana right now. I bought a bunch when it was $20 or so and have been letting it ride while staking....It has been very lucrative.

Extremely easy if you have an exchange account with Coinbase, Kraken, etc.

Other option is to convert to bitcoin and send to Cashapp, which I do sometimes. Fees are a lot cheaper to send on Solana though.
Send solana (for example) to Kraken, sell for USD, deposit USD into bank account.
Something like Koinly can help you keep up with the tax aspect, although if you're trading on a private wallet who GAF? lol

Funny enough after I mentioned we have the same heater, mine committed suicide. Started hissing and bubbling so I guess the enclosure cracked.
Got this one, the external temp control/read out is worth it even if yours is still functional...Mr Pablo's bich asss can't bite me now when I make adjustments

It's been a perfect size. Plenty of room for plants and a good mix of fish. Extremely forgiving, too.
This is the way it's looking now. I have the U/V filter running about 4hrs a day off an Amazon smart plug.
I don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but the skittle shrimp have been much more active now that the water has cleared. Turns out I've only lost one of the original five. Mr. Blue popped up after months of not ever seeing him.
