I do too. Play with a chip on your shoulder. Hated losing 2 out of the last 3 but there may some benefit to that this year, if there is such a thing as benefitting from a loss.

As you said, "you have to play with an edge about you"!
At some point, things can become equal: strength and conditioning, preparation, play calling and design, etc. What separates teams/players is that mentality - "you are not about to beat me on this day"!
Some people can "accept it" a little to easy and some people never give in; even if it is a lost cause to "everybody else"!
You are not better than me and "I am going to show you on this play"! Even if you got a couple plays on me; "you got lucky. . . . i'm going to show you i'm better now compete"!

Yep the team seemed kinda robotic the past couple of years but this team has a different feel to it, every position group is absolutely hungry. I honestly believe it has to do with the cloud of the past moving on and this freshman class might go down in the books as one of the best those kids mean absolute business

Yes!
From all the comments from players and coaches - I gather there was a whole lot of "thinking" and "over-analysis" going on.
Going back to Coach Morris; the offense was said to "have answers" built in.
It sounds like though; they put in too many: "if they do this, do that and vice-versa and so on"! To the point, it bogged down the athletic ability.
Players will be able to adjust routes using more common-sense approaches: "find the open patch of grass"!
Rep it so much; the WR and QB know which patch the ball is going to.
Can't wait to see our offense perform well!

Clemson does not need toughness or intensity to get through the ACC. A mid-level High School team could make it through the ACC.
