That crazy play where the line doesn't move after the snap

The play seems to work against Miami. Amazingly they fell for it twice in consecutive games against them. I think it worked against South Carolina once. But that is all the success that play has had. It has had many failures!!!! Including the last game. It is trivially easy for a defensive coordinator to defend. He shows his team the play once (30 seconds) and that is about all the preparation you need.
If the line doesn't move, you know where the ball is going.
Who do you think is calling this play is it Tony or Dabo?
I hope they never call it again, I think even Miami will be ready next time. And so will everyone else they play.

The play has worked for us several times over the years, but it may be time to shelve it for a while or at least against teams we play regularly. That was one of several unique plays we have ran over the past 10 or so years. But I think it is time to add a few new wrinkles, which TP playing one play with DJ split out maybe setting up one for later this year.

Without the incredible missed block by any of our four players against that one defensive player that was immediately in front of them, I think that it was a TD. However, NONE of them blocked that guy, and he dropped us for a loss.

Very true. 4 guys missed one block! It’s that way with all the plays . Coach can only call them he can’t run them! DJ only throws the pass the receivers need to catch them!

Where is Rob Spence these days? Bubble screen left, right, center, right center, left center, backwards, etc. He might be up for an analyst position and be a mentor to TE!
