We appreciate the JK and PBT concern for the football program

and offering congrats on Dabo using the portal and NIL effectively and hiring an outside replacement for DC and growing as a head coach 16 1/2 years in.

They have also generously offeried some I told you so comments indicating that recent developments were an admission of wrongdoing in the past and many of us were blindly supporting the team and coaches and by doing that we are also admitting it. For this they wish to be recognized for their intuition and foresight about what needed to be and should have been done. So we recognize them.

Now we are over halfway through the basketball season at 14-4 with 13 regular season games left (one in progress) and at least two postseason games to be played. So we need that same passion and analysis and breakdown about what needs to be done by the basketball team and coaches.

Any helpful criticism and maybe even praise would be appreciated. We need to win at least 10 more games to match or exceed the 71% of games the football team won. Hopefully we win more than 24. What would be a successful season and good coaching job? What should the coaches do now and in the future?

Thanks for the recognition, sort of.

I see what you’re doing here, and while I appreciate the effort to include me in the discussion, let me clarify a couple of things.

First, constructive criticism isn’t about “I told you so.” It’s about pointing out areas of improvement and holding a program to a high standard because we care about its success. If recent changes have validated some concerns, great—it’s a step forward for the program, and I think most fans, myself included, are happy about that.

That said, it’s interesting how much time and energy some folks spend thinking about me and my opinions. It's getting borderline obsessive and weird with a few posters, though.

Poor Al is obviously a snowflake who can’t deal with any opinions which does match his own or questions anything Dabo related. Must be a difficult way to go through life

What? It was appreciation and questions.

Just wanted to recognize your concern, support, and passion. You and JK and several others are very vocal and often one-sided and polarizing about it.

Any input on basketball, the team, coaching, what would be a good season, what is needed now and later?

Can we put all JK posts and complaints about JK posts on a different board?

That would be a nasty but interesting board.

The old dudes would be mad as they live to complain about him but can’t seem to ignore him

How old are you?

And where was the complaint? I only had praise (maybe back-handed compliments) and questions.

Also, glad I could help with necessary football critiques and discussion.

Your welcome. No basketball thoughts?

You have provided plemty of football fodder all season, especially for a basketball guru.

Now it's almost a month past football season and over halfway through basketball season and you've given very little critique and discussion of the basketball team and coaches and assessment of the situation, especially for a diehard bb fan.

You and PBT have given a lot of in depth analysis of what football should have done and should do, but nothing on basketball. Why is that?

Partly because our basketball team is doing what it is supposed to.

We are one of the best teams in our conference and are on track for another NCAA Tournament bid.

They play hard, they are disciplined, and they are coached up to improve. They are a nice blend of longtime Tigers and players from the transfer portal. Our coaches do everything they can do help us be successful.

It is easy to cheer for a team and program like this. Love it!
