We fans have been ALL IN for the past 6-8 years and our coaches have produced some mind blowing results. Fans need to remember that Dabo coached the first 15-0 team in history and won another National Championship 2 years later. Dabo and the coaches do not need help from uneducated fans who just see so called stars and not the players with little experience and limitations that we have. How anyone can give up on our team is just a mystery to me. It could be worse, we could Chiefs fans. GO TIGERS!

I have been ALL IN since my first game in Death Valley in 1968. Been some real tough times duthat span. Dabo says all the time, “the best is yet to come”. I believe him as he hasn’t lied to us yet. All in, all the time. Go Tigers! The Tigers beat the orange into juice with a lot of pulp! Tigers 42 Orange pulp-10

Wrong! A lot of fans have given up. You’re not one of them

... okay. That’s good. I’m not one either.
But to say that nobody has given up is to create a totally false narrative.
All you have to do is read the posts on here daily since the NC State game.
All faith in the coaching staff is gone for a great many TNetters and with that lack of faith, has come a distinct inability to believe that things will get better.
If you don’t believe things will get better, that’s the very definition of giving up.

Most Alums have not given up because we remember when we were happy to go 7-4 . Dabo has built a great program for Clemson University and we are happy he is our COACH for as long as he wants to coach. He is a problem solver and will deal with the offense . Many fans are upset because the offense is what it is underperforming but let's not act like the media and fans of LSU that are questioning the coach that won a CFP Championship a few years back. Yes, I've complained just like others but I trust DABO to lead Clemson back to the CFP and National Championship not this year but in the coming years.

Nobody that I know has given up on our team, especially me… having said that beat Syracuse! BUT sorry ,if we don’t get some better play calling and some much better QB play ,we’re in for the rest of a so far lackluster season ??

Counting on Clemson being there. As for a bowl game...just waiting for the rest of the story to play out. I would like to go, but it depends on when and where it is.

And can't wait for the NEXT CHAPTER to begin! Chapters 1 - 5 were painful but I've been ALL IN for 40+ years and don't intend to stop being ALL IN for the next 40+ years. Regardless of the coaches, regardless of the players, regardless of the sport, I'm a Tiger and I'm ALL IN and just as excited for every week. I always will be!!
Go Tigers!!

Why rumors of what some fans might be thinking of doing get printed. Remember the "feels like a loss" controversy a few years ago? Worry about the fans when you look in the stands and they aren't there.

for BC? Doesnt look like real fans have given up to me, yet it seems some blame is trying to be targeted at the fans?? Maybe DHood should hang around a different crowd?

This is what I have learned from this weekend:
1. We can win all of our remaining games if the offense plays better.
2. The offense better improve or we are in for a dog fight against Cuse, Pitt, FSU, UL, and WF.
3. Pitt is my main concern and I hope that WF stays undefeated because that way if we beat them then the highest ranked team plays in the championship and if that happens we will more than likely be the highest rated team of the three.

I agree with all that you've said here with the stipulation that (a) TE starts calling better/ more creative plays and (b) if DJU5 isn't getting the job done the coaches give someone else a shot. This article seemed to be largely about people giving up... If what you're doing isn't working (obviously talking about offense) the you try something new. When coaches are not ready to improvise when improvisation is needed it seems like the coaches are the ones giving up.

Seems like DHood's contact has written the fans off to me.

When you fail to measure up to expectations, criticism should be expected. It sure happens here in the real world.
We are wasting (and decimating) a championship defense because the offense is quite literally one of the worst in all of college football. The fans would be happy with an average offense right now.
Thank God Brent Venables had the wherewithal to make adjustments the past 2-3 years when our DL clearly were not going to be as stout as before. He redesigned his D to fit the personnel and strengths of his unit when we did not have the horses (or depth) up front in 2019-2020.
But on offense, "we just do what we do". (facepalm)

I told a guy yesterday that in a 1 to 10 rating (1 being the lowest) our offense was a 1. If our offense was just a 3 we would be undefeated and ranked number 1.

Great story and perspective David! Agree totally. In a way it kind of takes some tension out of fans where we can just relax and enjoy the rest of the season with expectations i9n check!

talk is cheap. Waiting for actions to speak loud. the BC game didn't answer any most questions. Until the Offense plays with fire every play and the play book is opened ( if possible )and not predictable them simply the proof is waiting to be seen. Ready for the Tigers to be the hunter not the hunted.

If Clemson lost a game or two after losing all they talent they did last season, I don't think many would be in abject shock.
Because their offense has seemingly bottomed out to the tune of dead-last in the almighty ACC....I believe that the fans that HAVE spent all that time and money on post season games (myself included) do have every inclination to question ### happened to this offense THAT quickly.
