Good luck recruiting Dabo. We're going to need it.
Louisville????
I'd have to say Clemson is among the big losers of all this realignment. Just nowhere for us to go due to the craze of wanting new states with tv markets.

Bunk! Barker got nothing to do with coots in SEC nor with SEC inviting Clemson to join! And sure hope Syracuse, Pitt and Louisville are cup cakes as you imply, but I would buckle my chinstrap for those games!

Isn't the point that the viable ACC targets are lower tier schools, while the most valuable properties of the ACC are the targets for the other conferences.
Swoffed again.

Correctly, their co-champion and a third place finisher beat them. Getting all high and mighty when as ACC Champion finished behind the BE, Conf USAa, and Mountain West champ.

Louisville sells Beer at their game, but....
Nov 28, 2012, 10:05 AM
|
|
...that may change if the ACC doesn't allow it. the Louisville community have embraced the Cardinals because it's like a pro game w/ beer. take away the beer, and you'll lose 20% of the fans.

no, because Pac 10 schools sell beer too.

the NCAA just controls their sponsored events like the Basketball Tournament. Bowls get to sell beer. But Conferences may prohibit beer at the Conference Championship (i.e. SEC Championship doesn't sell beer but the Chic-Fil-A Bowl does)

with the addition of the latest group of schools to the ACC.
If we want to be a national football power then being in the ACC is getting harder and harder to enable that to happen.

Its a conference thing. The ACC has a "section" rule. If a stadium has secure boxes and club seating (like the glass enclosed sections and the WestEndZone club we have) then you can bring in alcohol before they open the gates. I.e. friday night or early that morning you can go into your private box and leave a case of beer in there. But you arent supposed to bring it in when everyone else is entering, or leave during the game an bring any in. If you're in the stands like everyone else, you aren't supposed to have it.
