They had 6 of the top 8 national seeds and hosted half the regionals. Thirteen teams total, and only four in the Supers. LSU was handed by far the easiest regional, and the (on paper) completely overmatched Little Rock team took them to the brink. There's a good chance they only get one team in the World Series. Arkansas does to me, look like the most complete team in the country. Here's hoping to future failure for all of them.

It's a freakin GAUNTLET!!! That's why the e$ECpn conference really needs four AQs direct to Omaha. To be fair.

And in the tournament, non-e$ECpn teams should be single elimination but e$ECpn teams get three losses, so it averages out. We want the BEST teams, not the "most deserving."

What does it say, then, when one of their teams that was barely over .500 came into our house and beat us like a rented mule?
It never ceases to amaze me how some on here will go out of their way to rail on the SEC while ignoring the obvious. SEC schools have knocked us out of baseball the last 3 years in our own stadium, they got us in football and softball this year and the only reason one didn’t get us in men’s basketball is because McNeese State-that perennial juggernaut- did the work for them.
I get it- they are the darlings of ESPN and that has some influence. They take full advantage of NIL and it shows. But that should be what drives our university and athletic department every single year in every sport- get better. Get on top and fight to stay there. Get to where the SEC currently is- winning more National championships than they’re not, but competing every year for them.

It doesn’t say much. They had been run ruled 5 other times and game 3 or 4 was a problem all year. No one is ignoring the SEC’s results. Just tired of the propaganda given by media. That same media that loves to dump on Clemson. D1 got flack this year for adding ACCextra. Certain people said why do that when the SEC is the only one that matters. Clemson is trying to step up and right now other schools are doing their part too.
