When I saw that video a day or two ago I thought that this kid has a serious psychological problem. I also thought that his coaches and teachers are probably well aware of his violent tendencies. Looks like that is true.
He is not that young anymore. That means criminal penalties for an adult not juvenile. I hope he gets the help he needs because he is certainly headed in the wrong direction.

Thus a great reason why serious conversations can't be had, and progress made.
- Being unwilling to suspend their beliefs, listen and learn.
- Choosing to make jokes, make light of an issue or event, and/or respond with sarcasm.
- Or, respond with hatred, ill will or a total lack of empathy.
Listening and understanding, without any of the 3 above responses is hard. Not responding other than saying to oneself: "maybe I should learn more" is the most difficult decision of all.
