I would have told you you were crazy.
A few plays away from being 8-1 right now.
Pre-season I would have told you I'd be shocked to see them get their 6th win and go bowling.
Anyways, I like our chances on 11/30 and may the yardbirds help us into the CFP.

Exactly, and their schedule helped them also. Bama had not gelled, Oklahoma is just bad, Kentucky was playing their worst football, and A&M had just played their bitter rival the week before and laid it all on the line then and came out flat. They are not as good as their record. Plus they played a lot of home games.

Portal parity is real. There will be a few rich teams that are always on top but the also-rans are going to have a lot of volatility in the quality of their teams from year to year. Unrestricted free agency with no salary cap.

I think they’re way beyond what anyone thought. Heck he’s probably sec coach of the year. We will have to stop the run and play well to win but I think that’s the case with most teams we play. Glad they’ll be coming in hot.

Agree they’re not building anything. I think they’ve purchased some good portal talent for short term success. They’ve benefitted from this new system as much or more than anyone. Heck they are the parity.

I agree. I love when they lose but beating a ranked opponent is great.
I do think Beamer is building something - he maybe a clown but it’s working.

Agreed, especially when they looked terrible when almost losing to Old Dominion, but their Defense has looked real good since and their Oline has improved a lot during the year. It will be tough game for us.

Wanting a win with a better bowl game on the line as well as state bragging rights.
Their win by 1 (all you need) last trip up was due primarily b/c their good QB showed up and ours didn’t.
This year we should have the QB edge while their somewhat veteran D will be a test.
Saying, a possible humdinger and one for the ages!

I am very concerned playing the coots. They have a good defense and our offensive line is patched up. Even their offense is gelling and let's not mention special teams. They've also played very well on the road.
