You must have forgotten about the win over Clemson.
Remind me again what Clemson’s best win was? A 3 point win over SMU who didn’t beat a ranked team and was throttled by Penn State, or was it 7-6 Pitt who just lost to Toledo?
Maybe it was the 14 point loss to Texas that turned into a moral victory… “we belong, we hung with them, we put up the best fight in the playoff”, how the mighty have fallen.
