I don't really see the benefit of either of these conferences taking on this quantity of ACC teams. Why would the Big 10 want both Duke and Wake Forest? Why would the SEC want both UNC and NC State, and both Virginia and Virginia Tech? Several of these schools are the reason why the ACC contract is as bad as it is now, but suddenly the 2 "big" conferences will want to take them in?

I see the SUC taking Clemson and FSU and possibly UNC for their total sports program. I don't think the SUC wants the Big 10 anywhere close to the southeast.

Depending on how big is to big as to how many teams they take. Seems like 20-24 team conferences would cover 40-50 teams in two conferences and another 20-24 in a third conference would cover 60-75 teams.
12 teams in the playoffs after the conference championship, that leave 4 teams from each in the playoffs.
Clemson will always be in the mix but Wake Forest, Duke & Boston College are doubtful to be in the SEC or the Big10.

the $EC adds six more teams.
I believe Miami is in the early stages of designing and building a new stadium that is much closer to the Coral Gables campus.

I don't see Wake Forest having any chance of getting picked up by the B1G or SEC. Probably the same for Pitt, Louisville, and Duke.
If the B1G sticks to its AAU membership rule, here's how I think it'll get divided up.
B1G:Miami, GT, UNC, UVA. SEC:Clemson, FSU, NCST, VT.

The SEC already has one Vanderbilt, why would they want

another one in Virginia, except to possibly keep the BIG out of the Virginia tv market altogether. And let's face it Virginia ain't exactly a huge tv market anyway, so why would they care if the BIG snagged a weak team out of there?
