It wouldn't shock me if the final is Oklahoma/Bama. We got the 2nd hardest regional. Bama had a good case for a 2 seed. They shutout UNC (no hitter), ND - 2 hits 0 runs, shutout louisville twice... Like 1 or 2 hits. I could have some of these mixed up but the point being, they're a really solid team.
It will show us exactly where we are.

The several regional #2 seeds who got better draws. Teams like 27-22 auburn, 32-21 Miss State, 34-20 Ole Miss. Virginia Tech and Notre Dame who finished lower in the ACC than us.

7-17 in conference play. The tournament committee needs to be arrested for impersonating a tournament committee.
Look at the bright side - 12 of the 13 SEC teams made it into the tournament and the only team that didn't get in was UofSuC.

Probably because we beat them. Uga and Kentucky are the shockers. Bama has one heck of a pitcher. She carried their team too. We're going to have to be patient at the plate. Hopefully we've been hitting 74-75 mph pitches with lots of movement.

She is good. But we should go into the regional with a chip on our shoulder and something to prove. I am wondering what strategy Rittman will use regarding pitchers. I am not sure he wants to pitch Cage every game, like in the ACC Championships. Although she did extremely well, she might need a little rest.

Good point. I would love to win it in 3 games but don't see that happening, and likewise, don't see Bama either. Bama doesn't have to use her in the first game. Think Bama played the team they face twice, both were 10-0 games in 5 no hitters.
I'd think of starting Millie against troy. He won't and probably can't afford to. Troy is a tough draw as well. 48 rpi. Higher rpi than most acc teams we played.

Yeah, 4 of the 5 you listed are SEC teams. It's time to start asking questions from our Presidents. The bias seems to be getting worse. Dishonesty can be bought.

Calling Duke the number one regional seed while playing on the road is a farce.
That is offensive and makes me question the integrity of the 'selection committee.'

Still have to win so no sense wasting time worrying about who or where. Remember we have only a team for 1 year but a few pre COVID games last year. Honestly doubt our out of conference games were against any power teams.

I believe our SOS was over 100. Might have a lot to do with the snub. Purely basing that on the graphics shown during the game against GaTech
