Fair point, but perhaps it might help if some stories came out that we're pursuing so and so just like we get in recruiting high school players. At a minimum, it would let recruits and fans know that we're active.

I would have offered the Penn State RB Coach to replace CJ and have him bring his 2027 RB the #1 in the country and also had him bring his best experienced back in the portal until Davidson and EZY can be ready. I would allow Allen to get some of the defensive coaches from Penn State if he wanted them and have them bring some of their defensive players in the portal. I might would hire Napier as offensive analyst yo get some of his Florida guys in the portal. Seems like Dabo has his thumb up his butt instead of out there wheeling and dealing like everyone else.

We’re not looking ahead, just trying to lessen the but-smashing with Duke. How many times have we heard - “We don’t need the portal, our locker room is full” … as it turns out, it is full ..full of ..keeping it clean, friends and family choir boys …

Dabo waits til after Spring to see who leaves before finding transfer fits. We need to start recruiting them in the handshake lines in October.

I'm pretty sure I read this when UCLA fired their coach a few weeks back. I think it said that there is a 30 day window for all players on that team to transfer if they want. In a way that makes sense, because they supposedly came to play for this specific coach. But dang what a mess it creates for the guy having to fill in.

It will only take one or two splashes to open the flood gates of recruits. That is why ND, Alabama and Ohio State will clean up this mess.
