My wife and I are heading to Tallahassee. Need some tips on where to go, what to do, parking, good restaurants, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. Go Tigers, Beat FSU!

If you're determined to stay in Tally all day Saturday, I like Well's Brothers. Laid back, good food. Hobbit's Hoagies is an acceptable sports bar with some quality trash talkers. As for parking, I've parked at the Civic Center and taken the shuttle over which is perfectly acceptable. But as I posted previously, if you want to really enjoy your trip, do yourself a favor and hit The Forgotten Coast Saturday morning. You've got probably 12 hours to kill. On your way down you'll pass through Sopchoppy, home of the Worm Grunting Festival. It's a thing that happens. Once you hit the coast, Indian Pass Raw Bar is a good starting point about 2 hours away. Leave at 10 and you're there when they open at noon. Serve yourself honor system beer (including draft), killer stuffed shrimp and oysters in an awesome dive bar. If you can get there at night (maybe Friday) it's an elevated experience. A little closer to Tally is St. George Island where you can hit the public beach or St. George Island State Park. Stop at Paddy's for lunch. If you're not a raw oyster eater, I recommend the St. Cheddar: garlic, onion, bacon, jalapeno, & shredded cheddar cheese. If you want to do a little shopping try Apalachicola which is basically Honey, I Shrunk Beaufort. Grab lunch at Up the Creek, Owl Cafe or Hole in the Wall. I'll be in Apalach checking out some real estate first thing Saturday morning and then on to St. George. You'll have time to get back and tailgate.
