It boils my butt every time I see or hear about how “great” a linear network is going to be! The member schools of the ACC will probably see half the income the other conferences are receiving and that will hurt. We are already 30-40 million per year in revenues behind and the gap is only going to grow. This ACCN makes me sick.

Watching this ACC Media Days stream is painful. This looks like a high-school production compared to the SEC event.
They couldn't find even one radio guy for analysis between speakers?!?! Heck, they could even set up a round table discussion of reporters who are sitting there (probably streaming the SEC event on their phones when nobody is at the podium).
And to think, Mark Packer LIVES IN CHARLOTTE.
Amateur hour. What an embarrassment!

It was a shell of what the SEC is doing. The ACC broadcast goes dark between the school interviews, so there is a 15-20 minute period where nothing is being broadcast. There is no panel of people discussing what is said.
I have higher hopes for the ACCN channel but expect it to be half-ass and not nearly as lucrative as the other conferences.
Swafford has failed the member schools.

And you know this info how???
From (the lack of) what I've been hearing, we don't know ANYTHING about this network. But just because the details haven't been pushed out to the public doesn't mean it's gonna be a second-rate product. ESPN is heading this thing up, which makes me expect a product similar to the SEC/ESPN network. Do you guys know something I don't that makes you expect anything less?

That A$S hole dropped, fumbled the ball big time on that deal, and bc of his slackness, he has the ACC behind the times of it's own viewing network. That S O B should have been fire just bc of the way he handled that situation with ESECPN. I see it as Swofford committing the the act of mutiny within the ACC, with ESECPN acting as a co conspirator!!! He couldn't have screwed that deal up any worse than he did!!!
