Of course, the interviewer for NY Magazine put the race and gender

question out there...she wasn't the one that said it initially (according to the article). But no, the media is trying to turn every story into a race and gender issue. Sure.

Although I am surprised to learn that only woman get ad hominem attacks. Thanks for clearing that up, Ms. Rice. Must be misogynism.

Fine with me. Identity politics is driving more people away from the democratic party every day.

The GOP healthcare bills are pushing independents to the Democtatic party. Most people are appalled that the taxcut for the 400 richest people (included in the Senate bill) would pay for Medicaid for poor people in 5 states (2.5 million people).
67% of Medicaid recipients are poor children; but that's okay w Mitch O'Connell. The GOP's healthcare for the poor: if you get sick, and you're poor, you'll die.
Great people, those GOP Senators on the healthcare committee!
But, they've made it, and now they've stepped in it. They'll own it. They will lose their majorities in Congress over the next few years.

Could have fooled me. I could have bet the house that republicans have won the majority of the races the last couple of years.

But, hey the independants are running to the democrat party.

You are absolutely correct. Pelosi, Reed, Shumer, Wasserman-Shultz, Brazile and Obama have gutted the Democratic Party.
