The GOP healthcare bills are pushing independents to the Democtatic party. Most people are appalled that the taxcut for the 400 richest people (included in the Senate bill) would pay for Medicaid for poor people in 5 states (2.5 million people).
67% of Medicaid recipients are poor children; but that's okay w Mitch O'Connell. The GOP's healthcare for the poor: if you get sick, and you're poor, you'll die.
Great people, those GOP Senators on the healthcare committee!
But, they've made it, and now they've stepped in it. They'll own it. They will lose their majorities in Congress over the next few years.
