During his tenure Clemson fans spent ~40 year walking in the desert. When we reached the first oasis his time was foretold to be ending and it did.

The best, and I mean very best he did for Clemson was quitting. The tragedy he was to us lives on but we have dug a tunnel and hope to escape this prison he built.

The OP is a joke, if you think too hard about jokes they aren't funny, maybe that was my problem.
