has he seen tajh boyd run? UGAy fans really don't know there is football played outside of Georgia and Alabama. When was there a time where Clemson picks their QB and UGAy gets the Clemson leftovers? lol

No disrespect to your post, but we lost a pretty good one to Ole Miss lately.

if Ole Miss and Kentucky are starting to get highly rated...

recruits, then it's pretty much a fact that every team in the SEC is cheating. As if, it wasn't a fact before. But with those two schools not having good seasons and attracting top talent, leads to only one conclusion: pay to play.

How many of the current Clemson coaches were coaching at Clemson in 1990? The Dirtpeckers are on probation right now. How many coaches on the current staff, at Usuc, paid players? That too tough to answer? How many years in a row have the dirtpeckers BEEN on probation?

I don't know of any coaches at SC who paid players, but I do know one who admittedly paid players who is being inducted into the ring of honor at Clemson. Will that work for you.

Will you stop trying to mask your insecurities about your fanhood by preaching to us?
We don't care what you have to say, dude. And save yourself the obligatory "If you don't care, why are you responding."
I do this to all the new mouthbreathers who come around. Just trying to save you some time.

The formal investigation from the NCAA refers to the former assistant coach, now head coach who provided money to certain players - page 14 of the NCAA findings.
About two years this go round
For the ibewritegood fellow - no insecurities here as you certainly seem to have that market cornered all to yourself. I believe you are what is termed a "internet hero". You probably lack the compunction to approach someone mano a mano, and live, vicariously, through a keyboard on a college sports message board. To use your own verbage.

I don't think it matters who Richt puts on Sammy. We got the only corner in the NCAA that can cover him and I don't expect Dabo to loan players for this one.

Why yes I will .....
See South Carolina parts 2011 and 2012 for the example you are seeking.
2011 4 receptions 39 yards 2012 4 receptions 37 yards
See also Florida State 6 for 29 (2012) Furman 4 for 52 (2012)

two and sometimes THREE people to defend Sammy. It wasn't one-on-one coverage.
In the Furman game you left out his 58yd touchdown RUN and the fact that he pretty much didn't play after half...
Any more subjective stats you'd like to toss around?

I beg to differ - Fla State played a zone scheme. So. Carolina played straight man. Hampton shut him down both times.

So...FSU didn't roll coverage towards him...and SCar's safeties were just twiddling their thumbs? Okay then...you win...
Point is...one-on-one, the guy is dangerous. And you failing to admit that is admitting that you fail to understand what's going on on the field.

No, the statement was no one could cover him one on one, the only person who could is with Clemson.
Would I admit he is dangerous and not everyone could cover him straight up? Heck yes I would. Even in what many called a "down" year he was still kicking a$$.
BTW - the man freed up the safties for SC - three ints by safties over two years.

In two years, Tajh has been sacked 11 times and has been hurried countless others.
That tends to affect any receiver's statistics, regardless of what scheme the opposition is running or whether or not he's getting 1on1 matchups.
You and I could cover Sammy if our defensive line was in the backfield before he was even able to make the first cut in his route.

You stopped responding when you realized the futility of your argument.
either:
a. Sammy Watkins can be teamed man to man; or
b. Its only because your offensive line sucks
Pick one line of logical argument and stick with it.
BTW -both are solid facts

the last time they saw Clemson we wore LSU's highly touted SECheat defense completely out and left them laying on the field, literally.
They talk chit but the truth is their only hope is to prepare for the team that Clemson was at the end of last year. I'm expecting Coach V to have fully instituted his style of defense and for The Chad to put the other 25-35% of his offense on the field.
