Congrats CJ!!! But I do want to say, if there is one day an award in your name, a Clemson player will never get a chance to receive it, it will be given to other big time FB school players, but a Clemson player, regardless of good they are, they will never receive the CJ Spiller award/trophy!!!

Perhaps my favorite Tiger! I can’t think of a more deserving representative of Clemson Football! You were one of the most exciting players I have ever watched play football. You’re an ever better person than football player and that says a lot about you! I am proud of you and will forever think of you fondly when it comes to Clemson football! You were the first “big time” recruit to give Clemson a shot and you opened the door for Tajh Boyd, DW4, and TL16! Our program was built because of you!

To one of my favorites (if not my absolute favorite) to ever wear a Clemson uniform... congrats CJ Spiller. The quickest to reach the HOF in his class. However - what I admire CJ for is not just his great skills on the field... lots of players have that. He (along with Tajh, Deshawn, and Trevor) is every bit as great off the field as he was on it. These guys are outstanding men first and great football players second. Congrats CJ. I might not be able to make this ceremony, but I look forward to being there to see you added to the Clemson Ring of Honor in the next year or two.

Clemson would not be where it is today in football if CJ had not picked the Tigers. I will never forget the countless times our offensive linemen would raise their arms to signal touchdown as soon as CJ cleared the linebackers. We were blessed to have CJ.
