We have YouTubeTV in Seneca and it suits us fine, especially on fiber optic supply.

Want to do something different at Sugar Mtn just to keep them separate, especially with renters.

Suggestions?

Also - Does anyone use ATT Air for internet?

Once downtime and my streaming break is over will probably go back to YouTube TV

What about Pluto TV for the renters and you can sign in to your YouTube when you are there?

aiming for good internet so people can use their own? I'm wondering if a smart TV (I've never had one) could easily be wiped after each renter leaves so they don't stay logged in.

We have 4 tvs. 3 are 1-2 year old smart tvs and 1 (the main 1 used) is older

since I have only ever had copper phone line DSL internet, and have given up on fiber ever getting out to my dirt road. I had to try something because copper phone lines are pretty much going obsolete. They get broken or cut somewhere along the line a couple times a year it seems. Not many options for me living in the hills, but I decided to give it a go.

At first I had nearly zero signal, woods and hills too thick to get reception. Had barely some on top floor, but downstairs nothing at all, which is where my living room/TVs are. So I had to buy a extra cellular signal booster off Amazon (non-ATT, $100), meaning mount an antenna, run coax through the house, and jump through all kinds of hoops to even get a halfass signal downstairs from the nearest tower (2 out of 4 signal strength lights on the ATT receiver box thingy).

BUT--- I have to say I have been pleasantly surprised at what it can do. Haven't had any interruptions. I have streamed two baseball games at the same time on the ROKU TVS, plus able to watch Youtube videos on the PC at the same time with no buffering or degradation. That's about as maxed out as I ever need to get in my house. And that's with like I said, a 50% signal strength. $60.50 flat a month.

I think I'm pretty happy with this decision heading into the future.

We got fiber on our gravel road a couple months ago from Lumos, the local

Legacy phone company which has bought a couple other legacy phone companies and done a major fiber expansion. Now T-Mobile has bought them. After our fiber was installed, which was nearing the end of their rollout of fiber in the area, they announced they were ending support of their copper wire telephone and dsl system soon. T-mobile will have nothing to do with copper wire telephone. People that haven't switched to fiber with them in this area will have few options for phone and internet service other than cell phones, which have poor signal in many remote and mountainous areas around here.

Roku with Fubo. Saves a few bucks with Fubo, maybe $15 month.

Problem is Disney owns Fubo now, along with Hulu and ESPN, so the benefit has diminished.

Why give renters anything?

I travel with my own roku stick so it is automatically signed in to all my apps. I don't want to be limited to a cheap airbnb provided tv option.

You just need a smart tv so they can sign in to their apps or suggest they bring their own streaming stick, right?

Also, please put a lamp with USB ports on the night stand. Thanks!
