should anyone. Same for locker room, hunting club, at bar with friends, etc. I try not to use it but frequently fail on that.
But I don't love hearing profanity from crowds at sporting events or from loud, obnoxious people in public. It comes across as trashy. On TV, I have not minded it except that it now seems like some shows just load up on the profanity to seem edgy or sophisticated or something. The first episode of the Diplomat had about 20 F bombs in the first few scenes. It did nothing to advance the plot.
I am under no illusions that this is a popular opinion.
