I am listening to music with my feet up in the solarium watching the lights across the river. My car will drive itself to work in the morning, presumably, I will be in it. I will still be a business owner. My Taxes will get lower, my share of the profits will increase when federal corporate rates are cut. We had two large contracts land today because a decision was made without months of legal challenges and buttcrying. You will get no years from me.

I worry about others though, my sister received death threats because she works for NPR, and Trumnp threatened to remove their funding and use the FCC to shut them down. I worry about my business Partner who immigrated legally from South America and experiences racism, which will likely get worse when the nasty elements in our society become emboldened under another Trump Presidency. More importantly, I worry about the damage that will be done by an idiot clown wielding a sledgehammer, knocking down load-bearing walls in our institutions, , let alone the Judicial appointments that will favor corporate interests over voters from both parties for the rest of my life.

Listen, buddy, I know you are a good guy,, I get that you are seeking validation, and I assume we have a ton of things in common, but the infatuation must get tiring for you. I find it cute.

I watch MSNBC because it's good to understand what those who oppose you are saying and thinking, and to ask whether what they're saying or thinking makes good sense.

MSNBC rarely makes good sense. They've gained market share in the last year at CNN's expense by appealing to a growing progressive base.

As one who covered politics for a good swath of my career in journalism, I'll say only that people tend to vote overwhelmingly with their wallets. Ideology, identity politics ... these are ancillary items that progressive candidates tend to focus exclusively on at their peril.

And another thing I learned: Republicans tend to lag behind Dems in messaging/optics, but they mobilize and get out the vote very well.

Meanwhile, Dems do great with messaging/optics, but, they can't organize and get out the vote to save their lives.

But to your poast: Why come on here and poke at those whose opinions don't match your own? In a way, you're following MSNBC's lead.
