it's electronics are busted and we mainly used it for lighting, exhaust, and a timer, Willma is against waves because of bad juju or something and I got used to not using it, there's a microwave in the basement if I really need one
Going to replace it with a recirculating exhaust fan and a nice backsplash
anybody else here sans microwave or am I just the weird one?

doesn't have one. I see nothing wrong with this lifestyle. I want rid of my over the stove one and to be replaced with a real exhaust hood.

Don't like them, but use them out of necessity

Such as, at work where I am a trailer where that is the only device available here to heat something. I guess I could buy my own equipment and bring it in (like I did my desktop ice maker), but that seems a bit much.

Bought them for quick, "end of a 12-hour shift," "don't want to go back out for dinner" dinners on a work trip a few weeks ago. Not horrible calorie wise, typical frozen dinner sodium content. Tasted better than similar Healthy Choice or Weight Watchers meals I've had.

or so, but they come in handy when I do (like getting back from the Thirsty Beaver on a Sunday night). I'd definitely give those a shot as much as any other brand if they aren't priced in order to buy Dolly a new yacht.

But none of us missed it.

Coffee is good at any temperature and if you can't drink it when it's 74 then let me take the pea out from under your mattress.

If my coffee gets cold, I like to heat it up.

Also. Corn tortillas. Sandwich tortillas between a wet paper towel. Towel tortilla towel tortilla etc. 3 take about 20 seconds. 6 maybe 25 or 30 seconds.
Tortillas won't fall apart like they do when you heat them up in an oven. Flipping them over on a skillet works too, but towel method is better and faster.

First thing I did when I moved in this joint was tear out the microwave

over the stove and put in a vent hood that vents outside through the roof.
We still have a microwave, it's just stuffed in the pantry now. Most of the food I eat at home gets heated up in it.

Use ours for timer mainly and to warm up leftovers. Use instant pot and air fryer more.

12x12" plate in there.
Also, its' so small that when the popcorn gets up to about 1/2 way the bag gets hung on the sides and it stops turning. So it doesn't cook evenly and I've grown accustomed to pulling it out (lol) sooner and wasting popcorn because of the proportion of unpoppped kernals.

Can I interest you in a 30"x30" steel backsplash?

I bought this one last December and couldn't install it because my cabinets are wonky.

for a couple of years til Mrs Slac brought one home for reasons I can’t recall. And Lil Slac1 left his with us while he studied abroad…should’ve studied more broads when he was over there. I would have. Anyhoo, he’s living in the frat house his senior year, and they’ve got a nice kitchen and a maid/cook. So his old mike rowe wave is taking up counter space on my bar, currently.
I’d like to Wile E Coyote a trap out of it and nuke my neighbors cat that keeps shiddin in my liriope.

We have a built in that also does convection. Its nice and will keep. However over the oven waves i dislike and prefer a true exhaust hood as I cook with gas.
Must say the airfryer gets most worked.
