And AI feel more like the digging of 'Deep Six Feet Under' for humanity. It seems humanity's biggest asset is also it's biggest weakness; arrogance. We're arrogant enough to achieve what was once dreamed of, yet equally arrogant enough to not take time and honestly envision the 'consequences of action'. Creating 'good' typically is followed faster and faster these days by transforming it to 'bad'.
2525 seems to be moving up a few centuries.

The progression of AI is very concerning. I saw an AI generated spoof video of Nick Sirianni supposedly in a post game news conference that should scare all of us. Not because of the content or language, which was vulgar and unnecessary, but simply because of how real it looked. I watched his lips moving during the interview and it wasn’t perfect by any means but it was close enough to fool people especially if the video wasn’t as clear as it was. I’m not going to post the link because of the profanity but if you google “nick sirianni makes surprise announcement” a 1:16 minute video will probably be the first result. If you can get past the profanity, it is pretty funny and obviously fake but shows how realistic these videos can be made. Makes you start to wonder how much you can believe of even things you see and hear with your own eyes and ears.

It's a Chinese gubmint owned spy operation that wants access to the massive US data collected on every American and is used to track every aspect of your life. America has the most data collection of any country in the world. China wants access to it.
Without this massive data collection, Ai is not possible.

Know exactly what they are doing to the American workforce. Take coders as an example.
People who were sold on learning coding skills as a great job are now learning that ChatGPT can do that. One company (I don't know how small or big they are) said bluntly that he was getting rid of his mid-level coders and that he didn't need them (or their overhead) to do what he needed.
In my company, we use ChatGPT to help us develop certain things that I need.
It is not all doom and gloom. However, I recommend that all of us start learning about AI and data. At some point, it will impact what we all do.

Did you ever think that AI might be calling our plays one day? Less bubble screen maybe? This is football related.

if it's water . one day humans will need the water more and that will be interesting to watch .
if it's placing them in tundras . that will also be interesting . like maybe Canada and Greenland weather can keep them cool

I never buy an stock in a Chinese company

Simply don't have the same levels of accounting and I don't trust their statements. Their companies are notorious for being poorly managed and cutting corners. I have known plenty of Chinese/Americans that shop in Asian grocery stores but never buy products from mainland Chinese food manufactures. They always buy, Japanese, Korean or from Taiwan. This new Chinese AI is simply a Chinese government startup trying to get the rest of the world to dump their personal information into the Chinese controled databases. JMO

Almost all new technologies are feared early on.
I'm not worried about large language models answering questions for us.

every 12 hours. Wisdom, not so much.
It is sad that a Bible study I am involved with that involves answering daily questions from Scripture passages, most of which involve application, has an AI policy concerning answering the questions.
Now, if AI can get rid of all the email/text spam, I all of sudden started getting, I am all for it.
