A gold/black dot in a vast sea of orange.

My wife grew up wanting to go to Clemson. But Clemson didn't have her program. So she went to App which did have her program.

So on Sept. 7, we feel obligated to wear the App gear. Because you have to draw the line somewhere -- can't be a Clemson bandwagoner (as we both are) at the expense of one's alma mater.

Now, it's important to note that our dern seats in DV are in UF -- meaning we'd be a tiny little gold/black dot in a very vast, and probably a little nervous, sea of orange.

And what I don't want for myself or my family is to show up on the big screen in a choke hold, or, having placed someone else in a choke hold, find myself in a pair of bracelets in the rear of a squad car.

I've never paid attention to how Clemson fans treat visiting folks. I know I've always been pretty indifferent to them, even the sad little c o c k folk who show up every other year.

So should I expect a pleasant evening? Or should I brace for a kerfuffle?

The only harassment you'll get is walking through the tailgates, and by harassment I mean people are going to offer you plenty of food and bev!

Wear a Clemson hat and an Appy State shirt.

Last year, I was blessed enough to recieve 4 seats to the ACC championship game by a poster on T-Net. Took three FSU fans with me. We were all decked out in FSU apparel. But, much to their surprise, I wore a Clemson hat (in tribute to TNet and my generous benefactor).

Not exactly the same, since Clemson wasn't playing.

But, that is my suggestion.
