Stat/Fact about RoSE Bowl Stadium maybe not realized..

But from my 1/1/1989 attendance I noticed that the upper seating area & back wall is not much higher than our lower deck back wall..

which means to jam 100,000 fans into it they have cheated on the space given between your bench seating and that in front of you and thus your knees are into the back of those fans..

Which makes it almost impossible to get up, go down the aisle to go to the rest room or for food.

If you’ve noticed, the upper walls are much lower than the tall trees looming outside the stadium.

Yep, the truth..and the entire stadium is rather crusty and dated as is the famous sign outside the entry but one hack of a sporting venue amongst some beautiful terrain and only a stone’s throw from downtown Pasadena that has gotten very rich from the Rose Bowl Parade and the crowds that visit.

I like older stadiums and don’t care for new venues especially dome stadiums

And The Big House. I’m not entirely sure there’s seating for 100,000 at Michigan. Maybe 100,000 if everyone stands and half of them are turned sideways.

Seat width:

Michigan - 16 inches
Clemson - 16 inches
Rose Bowl - 18.25 inches

If you do approximate measurements on Google Maps, the distance around each stadium is:
Clemson - .386 miles
Michigan - .479 miles
Rose Bowl - .486 miles
