2 games in a row I have been told to sit down by someone sitting behind me. Don't come to the games if you aren't planning on having to stand. Ridiculous and part of the reason we've lost the homefield advantage we had for the last decade.

Standing is part of the game experience.

If not i can understand jumping up in excitement, but not to constantly stand when most are seated.

We actually had a family of 4 sitting two rows down from us complain to the people sitting behind them for being too loud during the first half. No foul words were shouted. That was not the complaint. The wife/mother said they cheering was too loud. Unreal. I have not seen this family in those seats before.

I believe we’ve had this debate before. Common curtesy says that you should sit except if the people in front of you are blocking your view. And of course, if there’s something exciting happening. I would never ask someone in front of me to sit down, but I sure have thought about it a few times.
As someone else said, I’m not sure how we help our team by standing up?

If you are standing the whole game and nobody else is in the area that is a little much, but your right I guess. I stand for big defensive 3rd downs. I yell for the defense throughout until the team has consistently given me no reason to like at the end of last Saturday. The crowd showed up numbers wise Saturday but were quite as ####. The first time we got on defense and I yelled you could tell the couple next to me was kind of shocked. They didn't make a peep of noise the whole game.

I will say I would prefer someone who stands the whole game and yells to someone who sits the whole game and doesn't make any noise.
