Do you just pull random stupid stuff off the internet that fits your narrative??? No matter how credible?
You far right morons are equally as stupid as the far left.
If we could get you 2 groups of buffoons on an island the country might get back to normal.

I will not object.
The story is legit. And there's nothing excusable whatsoever about what this guy did. Personally I'd give him life, or the chair if I could. If you're that bent, and betray your oath of office to that extent, you deserve the alligator pit. It's a level of betrayal right there with what Alex Murtaugh was doing to his clients and anybody who trusted him.
The bigger question to me, is: how did he get away with it, what safety precautions were not in place that allowed him to do it, and does the problem scale up? In other words, is this something specific to this one place or time or is it bigger than him?
We need to get concrete resolution on that. We talk about "elections being the most secure ever"...we need to do a deep dive into what happened here, and make sure it isn't happening elsewhere. No objections here.

Why immediately attack the post just because you don't like the source? All you have to do is google the dudes name and you get MULTIPLE sites reporting this story. I don't give a rats effingass about any of it, but is 30 seconds of investigation too much to ask?

TD Tigers your reply is indicative of the state of mind of the left. What was posted was a FACT - the guy was convicted. The original link said that. This has nothing to do with far right, it shows that there is no extreme left for you people - all of you are extreme.
During his guilty plea hearing, Demuro admitted that while serving as an elected municipal Judge of Elections, he accepted bribes in the form of money and other things of value in exchange for adding ballots to increase the vote totals for certain candidates on the voting machines in his jurisdiction and for certifying tallies of all the ballots, including the fraudulent ballots. Demuro further admitted that a local political consultant gave him directions and paid him money to add votes for candidates supported by the consultant, including candidates for judicial office whose campaigns actually hired the consultant, and other candidates for various federal, state and local elective offices preferred by that consultant for a variety of reasons. Demuro also admitted that the votes he added in exchange for payments by the political consultant increased the number of votes fraudulently recorded and tallied for the consultant’s clients and preferred candidates, thereby diluting the ballots cast by actual voters.
The left is denying facts day after day. Denying cops are being killed because of the left's rhetoric. Denying CRT is not real and taught in schools. Denying the left's lawlessness does not spread - well it is here in NC. Smash and grab is here. There was a story on the radio this morning. I missed the town, but was local Raleigh, Durham, Cary.
All this is YOUR fault. You vote for and support this chit.

You make me shake my head, NC. You don't even know what you don't know and your perception is so narrow it's like watching a guy try to drink soup through a straw. Nobody "voted" for this. You're ascribing to permissiveness what is actually an outgrowth of technology abuse.
Smash and grab is a function of the Internetz - specifically the same crypto tech that was incidentally used by the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys to organize January 6. It's basically a World of Warcraft raid...organized by crooks in real life.
Anybody can play the Signal and Telegraph game, not just aspiring MAGA Stop The Steal revolutionaries...err, sorry, extreme tourists. Criminals included.
When people can form their own little cells with impunity on the Internet, they tend to metastasize into cancers. The crooks are just organizing a different way now, using the intrinsic anonymity of the Internet in a way sci-fi writers have been predicting for years. (See the crime app in Season 3 of Westworld.)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zsj4LDu1__Y
The crooks involved can't betray one another because none of them know who any of the others are, and none of them even have foreknowledge of the crime before it's "dropped" on them. It's almost impossible to stop because there's so little time between the raid being announced on the Internetz and its execution. It's like reverse DoorDash, for crooks, and the idea is to drop a lot of crooks the same place at once and just overwhelm. Modern-day Viking raid, basically.
It's working right now, really well. Law enforcement is completely not ready to combat this. They're going to have to figure out how to infiltrate those messaging app groups...and have a significant rapid-response squad move at a second's notice when a raid drops. It's not going to be easy...at all.
You knee-jerk MAGA's love your private internet where nobody can censor what you say. Well, this the flip-side.
You want absolute Internet freedom of speech? Enjoy. So go on, tell me how you stop this, without massive Internet censorship.
I await your answer, as ever, with bated breath.

Again, I have no opinion on this because I don't know if the problem is bigger than this one guy or not.
What happened here? Is it happening elsewhere? What security measures are in place to prevent it, and were they not applied here for whatever reason?
Because that's some scaly stuff, FB...and it really undermines confidence in the system. As they say, "truth is the best disinfectant."
We need to look.

so if the traffic court judge gets a speeding ticket, it's a safe bet that most people speed.
Or would you slap a traffic ticket on the traffic judge, wipe your hands, and say "whelp, good thing we got all the speeders off the roads. All you troopers can call it a day, Wanna follow me back to my place for some x rated fun amongst consenting adults?"

My question is, how'd this guy get so much Alone Time in the booth, and how'd he get those machines to log him as different people?
The ones I've used all knew who I was. And I was being observed the whole time I used them.

Same here... My dad and I have the same name and vote at

the same precinct. Something was screwy one time where my dad's name and birthday were listed as my residence (because he lived in my current house in the 1950's-70's) and I was listed at his residence, because I lived there in the 80's and 90's. Now, ultimately we were both on the same roster because these two houses are right near each other... but they got all in a tizzy about this. Barely let me vote.
BUT, I'm in a conservative area... not one of these metro/urban/democrat areas that always get accused of funny business... I can't say, for sure, what goes on in Phili, Atlanta, Chicago, etc.
I've also never seen somebody buy/sell crack or get murdered, but it happens every day.

Again, if there's something funny going on at various places, you would think it would behoove the Republican leadership to investigate...and that does not mean with clowns like Rudy Giuliani or Sidney Powell, who would get crushed in court arguing some nonsense they'd written on a dinner napkin while seemingly drunk, and then posture for the OAN and Newsmax cameras talking about QAnon-fueled conspiracy theories that had absolutely nothing to do with what they'd just gotten crushed in court about.
Cyber Ninjas did an exhaustive hand recount in Arizona. And found 300+ more votes for Biden. Rock on.
So what was specific to this guy that he was actually cheating at some scale successfully, and could it be applied elsewhere?
That's the question somebody serious about investigating election fraud should ask...and I'm not seeing the GOP or conservative media doing it. (Then again, the "conservative" media has a scarcity in actual reporters who go out and do actual journalism...because "conservative" media isn't actually right-leaning media, it's anti-media spin doctors.) This story was from more than a year ago in 2020.
Where's the follow-up? Because that one had actual meat on the bone.

Yea, I don't really have a good answer for that.

The crackpot part of my brain would say that the well respected, mainstream republicans were just as anti-Trump as the democrats were, so they wouldn't push for a legit investigation either.
Who knows.
