to do two things. First, attract better recruits and transfers. Secondly, help retain Ship another year.

Difficult sections but necessary.

I think Ship's mind is already made up.

He's got a body of work that extends beyond this season, a senior bowl, and a combine to boost his draft stock.

Or he could stay for A CHANCE that things will be 100% better behind an awesome o-line. What would you do?

We know that it takes a season or two before rotten things get corrected to a usable state here. We may be in TERRIFIC shape in 2025 but maybe not in 2024.

I dont think Shipley is risking another year in college. Go get paid like an NFL RB. RBs are in there prime right now. The clock is ticking beofre your 2nd contract

I think Shipley is already at 95% of his ceiling and he (or the people around him) know it. Truly elite RBs make things happen. Him staying another year would probably only marginally increase his value.

Shipley should stay another year and focus on holding onto the ball in the Red Zone. It’s been a problem for him since he has been here.
