Ok, who did write that title? Also shouldn't that be, "has shown" rather than, "has showed" ?

Bowden & Co. just couldn't get us over that proverbial hump in big time games.

The best loss in Clemson history. Ultimately got us Dabo.

Second to that (could argue it had a better impact) was the WVU Orange Bowl. Got us Jimmy Greenbeans.

Great article, David. But if you were so impressed with Dabo

then, why did you write that article later about being against him being our head coach?
I can't believe you chose that title for that article then.

Spence mostly ran vs BC's #2 run-D despite Harper's success.

Cullen Harper was successfully picking apart BC's mediocre zone pass-D but the "mad scientist" OC, Rob Spence used most of his play-calls running into BC's #2-ranked, brick-wall run-D full of future-NFLers (like Brice & Raji). With Clemson in game-winning field goal range, Tommy Bowden should have called a timeout to pick a safe play-call and remind Harper that the ball needed to come out of his hands right away with NO SACK. Instead they called a 5-step-drop pass play where Harper was sacked out of field goal range. Tommy took his timeouts into the locker room with his "L".
Fortunately Dabo fired Spence ASAP.

Cullen Harper hurt his shoulder on that touchdown. Got hit about the one and dove in and landed on it. Seems he was never really the same after that, kinda like with Willy Korn and in 2010 when Kyle Parker got the dirty late hit at Auburn. A shoulder injury seems to almost end a good player's QB career.
