I have a Spectrum package that included ESPN and the ACC Network and now they can't supply me with what I'm paying for.
News Flash: Better figure this out super-fast Spectrum or risk losing millions of customers (forever).

Spectrum will figure it out and your rates will go up. They are negotiating for a lower price so I would be pulling for Spectrum unless you plan on changing services.

about the timing of pulling the ESPN programming, the woman at the desk had the audacity to say "That wasn't SPECTRUM'S doing!"
I didn't even waste any breath over it, just told her to cancel my tv package and drop back to internet and phone only. For $14.99 a month, decrepit as I am now, I will keep my landline as a lifeline.
But, had I wanted to waste breath over it, I would have said:
"Every other streaming or cable carrier out there has a deal with ESPN. You idiots are going to have another deal with ESPN, eventually. But, instead of just biting the bullet and making the deal, you decided to play "hardball" and p!ss off a good portion of your customer base, that portion which loves college football. That just happens to be a near religion in the south, which is right where you cut it off last night. I hope that was a Bud Light move on your part, and you never recover."

available, carriers like Dish and DirecTV sometimes subcontract the internet part of it out, via Spectrum. So, anybody that thinks they are totally sticking it to Spectrum by going that route is mistaken.
