http://apne.ws/1NN5qFO TL;DR is that he's whining because everyone is being unfair and he thinks they should be nicer to SCjr.

I guess even his mother was an " enemy" she was quoted in an article several years back that he was a "BRAT." Momma don't lie....he's proven her right many times through the years.

They got the coachspeak on hyperdrive over there in Cootville . Plainly though , they are a 5 or 6 win team at best ...and anyone who thinks they are better than that is a fool .

He needs to figure out that his own team IS his worst enemy.

If he was confident in his team he would just let them do the talking on the field instead of throwing fits.

After a 7-6 season, replacing a senior QB who threw a season's personal and school record, an outburst designed extort a contract extension which ruined a recruiting class and now he's saying that replacing his DC is going to be the magic wand to fix all that?
No, I've clearly not understood what's going on there.

I would love for Tanner to fire him
Aug 23, 2015, 9:46 PM

1. Tanner made a horrible hire in the one sport he knows the most, Imagine what he would do with football.
2. Imagine how bad it look for a program that is barely above .500 overall in their history to fire a hall of fame coach.

If he's sick of the doubters and the "enemies" then he needs to win more ball games. It's what people do. If your team stinks and it doesn't look like it's gonna get any better then they are gonna say you stink. If he's tired of it then win more games. That simple. Talking and crying about it isn't gonna shut people up. I guess he's just that arrogant and thinks so highly of himself that he thinks he's supposed to be left out of the negative conversations. Like nobody is allowed to criticize his program. Get over it Stevie.

Rebuilding defense...ever heard of Mission: Impossible?
Aug 23, 2015, 11:08 PM

Seriously, anyone that would take on that task either needs a job BAD, is extremely loyal, really stupid, or much like the head honcho has totally unrealistic, hyper-inflated ego, with total narcissistic, self worth.
If you watched them last year their defense was freaking terrible. Started in game 1 against Texas A&M and didn't stop. I didn't see anything on that D worth a crap. The DL and everyone on it...sucked. Philip Dukes former 4star DT has exactly 36 tackles in his 3 yr career, no sacks, no, forced fumbles, etc. One of the 3 people. in 2 generations to carry the same very original name of Gerald Dixon (this one is JR) has gained 50-60 lbs since arriving. That bodes very well for speed. He sports a resume of exactly 4 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and one INT. The other originally named Dixon brother, whop has gained next to no weight since arriving (i guess Jr. was stealing his lunch money) has 61 tackles, 3 sacks in his career. The rest of the defense is the same, sorry, slow, technically unsound, and lack the characteristics of a successful player even on a Pop Warner team.
NOT 1 player on their defense last year could have started at Clemson...NOT 1! Few, very few would have cracked the two deep. Skai Moore is about as unspectacular as any star of a D 1 defense, as I've ever seen.I guess he's the sparking piece of glitter in the other wise dull turd pile.
And to make matters even worse, their "up and coming talent" fits right in. With the exception of a couple of JUCOs that love to run their mouths and have yet to play a game at the D 1 level, much less the SEC, the cupboard is pretty bare. When it comes to JUCO guys and camps at Sakerlina how would one judge the quality when the opposing force (the Sakerlina OL) sucks hardcore ########.
The "rebuild of this defense is at least 3 year job. Year two they will crack the upper half od SEC D's but then guess what..back at zero cause your JUCOs are gone and so is your legendary coach. I think Spurrier is regretting not retiring after this last debacle of a season. Their program looks like a blazing, fiery ball of doo-doo ice. Brace for impact.

Where Coaching Legacies Come To Die... You know for once I would love to see an interview of him throwing a tantrum and someone in the media room just farts really loudly as he's grumbling about his team being crappy... Wouldn't it just be hilarious?
