I'm not sure this is apples and oranges.
Maybe apples and apple juice.

"McEvoy was arrested and charged with speeding and consuming alcohol while under 21 on July 29 and has been suspended since his arrest."
Wow, he was speeding and was in possession of alcohol or had an open container. No DUI. No illegal prescriptions and no illegal drugs. Just a touch different than Sammy.

No DUI for Sammy either.

And yes, alcohol is illegal for under 21. So not THAT different. Surely some suspension, right?
Nah, of course not

Um, a person in possession of certain prescription drugs without a prescription CAN be charged with a felony.
I think everyone realizes that underage possession of alcohol is much less of an offense than either pot(which is illegal for everybody without a prescription) and possession of a controlled substance.
For some reason, Clemson fans can't seem to figure this one out.

but you said he had a DUI, which was a lie. SCar fans can't seem to figure that one out. Yes, certain drugs, sure. But even the police know that Adderall isn't the same as heroin or other illegal drugs.

"underage possession of alcohol". Dude! He possessed it
Aug 3, 2012, 11:26 PM

in his system. He had been drinking. That is illegal if you are undder 21, like he is. He didn't just posses it in his car. Sammy wasnt charged with having any illegal alcohol or other drug in his system.
So, you may be right. There is a huge difference. Dabo punishes. SOS looks the other way. I guess SOS thinks he might need a backup QB this season. hmmm

SOS v. Dabo

SOS has more wins baby. He also wears a visor, which is bitchin'! He knows best for all and will go down as a very good college coach, failure as an NFL coach and friend to no one. Unfortunately, many coaches in money sports wish they could be like him
