So losing to 10 to Rutgers is pretty respectable…
Maybe?

3-3. Without their best player. On a losing streak. A 10 point loss that felt like 25 or 30. Nothing good about it./

teams in the country. With BB's non-existent 3-point defense, Rutgers looked like Duke last night. Speaking of which, what does anybody think is going to happen when ACC play begins, starting Saturday?
PS: Clemson was a 1-point favorite last night, if that tells you anything.

Nothing about tonight's game was respectable, Tiger fans. This team was unmotivated and unprepared to play a mediocre Rutgers team and Brad looked totally in despair for most of the game. Dawes and Honor must be able to score for this team to have any chance. There are probably a half dozen HS players in SC upstate that would regularly shoot better than that pair did tonight. I am prepared to watch a few more games that go wrong and then I can watch football replays if I need to see a '21-'22 Clemson sporting event.

I have a feeling last season was the last horah making the NCAAT under Brad. Just don't have enough ACC type of bodies to matter unless we bring in a great grad transfer to team up with Hall next season.

I know what you mean man. I was willing to shrug off the Charleston losses to an extent, but that Rutgers loss is BAD. We have to win Saturday

I've been hoping since I became a fan as a student, and I've been hoping since.
I'll still and always will support the program, but I don't think any disappointing loss is surprising to me anymore, especially with this current coach.
Soooooo glad we secured him for a few more years and not let any greedy school take him from us. SMH!

Agree. It is sad with how crummy the ACC now is, that we could make some noise this year. But based on early results, we are 0-3 against teams we should compete with. Time to win these.

SO YOU DO NOT THINK WE COMPETED WITH THOSE 3 TEAMS. SHOULD HAVE WON 2 OF THEM. PROBABLY WOULD HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR THE FLU. LAST NIGHT WE GET IN BAD FOUL TROUBLE EARLY. GOT TO LEARN TO COMPETE WITH THOSE PHYSICAL TEAMS. THIS TEAM COMPETES VERY HARD AND I THINK WILL BE PRETTY ### N GOOD BEFORE IT IS ALL SAID AND DONE

LIKE the majority of the last 40 years of Clemson Basketball that I have known. Same ol’, same ol’.
Only time will tell - again - I hope you are right. Only 20 to 25 more games left.

Feels like just another Tiger BBall team that will leave us questioning why it has to be this way.
Hoping against hope it isn’t the case.

Not quite sure what you meant. Maybe you misunderstood what I mean with the word compete. Compete in my post meant teams that are about even as to talent and ability. Tough but winnable. We have played 3 games against these schools. I throw out temple simply because they are really poor. We lost to st bonny, WV, and now Rutgers. You seem to think I used the word competitive. We were in each of these games. Winning all 3 would have been wonderful but probably wishful thinking. 1 or 2 wins would have been nice - especially when Rutgers was short handed.

I watched most of it. They didn't play very well. However, just looking at it, most of our guys look smaller compared to the Rutgers team. Not just height, but also just the girth. Naz and PJ have good size but the others look either shorter or slimmer that the other team's players. But I guess on TV it's hard to really tell.
