Soooo, what's the goal with Clemson+ ?

Like, what is CUAD trying to achieve?
Only donors can access it, so are they trying to create some kind of value for donors that David Hood, ESPN, or YouTube isn't giving us for free?
I don't understand the intent, but it's clear there's a massive amount of investment in it.

I’m really not sure either- it’s got some great content that’s well done- however, I think it should be made available to the public, especially for recruits and their families.
The 2 softball series (and player profiles) they have done are amazing. I would hope every top softball recruit in the country could watch these and see the type of program Clemson is building.

I think allowing access to IPTAY donors only was an initial attempt to show increased value to help retain donors. Maybe as part of a soft ramp up strategy. However, FSU has announced something similar that will be open for anyone to subscribe. I suspect Clemson will follow their lead and develop an app for more streaming platforms and then open it up for anyone to subscribe.

You get to see well made video with stories about Clemson athletic teams and players that you can’t get elsewhere?

I'm thinking of this from a business sense. Those videos take a ton of man hours to create. What income are they generating that covers all those hours?

I’m fairly certain that most, if not all, of our video creators are students. I don’t think we’re spending very much money on this.

That still costs money. And, according to their staff directory, there are 8 listed (none are students) and 1 GA. If they average $60k/person in salary, that's $120k fully burdened to Clemson with required benefits/costs. That's $960,000 *before* you look at the GA and pool of students.

I wish they had at least the radio broadcast on there. I could have used it when we played NC State. I was traveling and we were on the Cartoon Network that game and couldn’t get squat.
