Friday night, went to the birthday gathering for Tote1's sweet lady. It was fun. Met a guy who knows some of our beer club friends, half watched the game, left at a decent hour. Learned that YouTube TV and Disney got over their little spat and got the game on my TV just in time to see the long snapper roll the ball to the punter. How Clemon won that game is beyond me.
Saturday, drop the truck off for the new windshield. Go to Stax original for breakfast, then to the Furman game. It is quite the different experience than a Clemson game. Then to pick up the truck and to a bonfire.
Sunday, up to Clemson to take my friend's kid out to her traditional birthday lunch without siblings. She said she only gets to go to McDonald's if when it is just her and her dad so that is what she wanted. Visited a while with the rest of the family after lunch, then headed home to make a Costco run. Then end up at Academy because I needed new Hey Dude's and Sharkgirl went to Trader Joes.

Friday was beautiful so Mrs Pabst and I went outdoors most of the day. Game at night.
Sat morning ended up stuck in the city due the marathon and some pol stuff happening in CLT...so we were on ICE the morn.
Finally got on the train and walked to a buds BBQ cookout. Had a blast, I drank to many DIPAs lol. Sunday...nursing the hangover and watching Mrs Pabst put up the Christmas tree 🎄
Was a great one.

Busy...
Friday - watched the Tigers for about a half before falling asleep.
Sat - Prepped and cooked for our auction at the church. Put in about 8-9 hours. Good food, fun and fellowship all around. Raised around $17,600 (gross) for mission and youth.
Sun - Church, then crashed hard for a couple hours. Made shepherd's pie, then Ken Burn's put me to sleep again.

Went to DC for non work purposes Saturday to watch the shootyhoops team lose. However, I thought they were pretty impressive and would expect a good season to be had. They weren’t backing down at all. Hoya student section was pretty rowdy, and there were few pert young honeys walking around. Jrgrouching#2 had a fair time, but certainly glad we brought his ear muffs, because lawd they crank that music up.
Sunday, raked leaves to watch them blow away in the wind. Listens to the Jags game while playing soccer with the boys. Went to Costco as well, renewed membership on top of inflationary food prices…glad my back pay came in when they said it would.

Friday I headed to New Bern, NC, after work with a buddy for a quick weekend fishing trip. Got in late to the hotel and crashed. Watched second half of the game.
Saturday, we fished the Neuse River and got into the bluefish on a slow troll. Caught 35 and could barely move my arms and hands after fighting those beasts all day. Pound for pound, they may be one of the strongest fish I've ever fought.
Sunday, back in the river. 30 more fish before lunchtime and then back on the road to SC. Shower and bed almost immediately when I walked in the door last night.
Awesome weekend and great fishing!

Saturday - Took wife_of and daughter_of downtown Gville and had lunch. Also brought the wiener dog. He gets more attention than Pete Herbstriet. Came back and watched the end of A&M/USofC. LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL.
Sunday - Built a pad for my trashcans. Watched some NFL. Fantasy team in good shape. Watched Landman. Gawtdam there some fine lookin womens on that show.
I also called Grayson Mann bitchmade a few times for that limp-wristed article he wrote about the "Foundation of Climpsen" ... grow some bawls, dude.

Friday, Ron Leines at the Tipsy Burro. It's hard to describe his mix of outlaw country/classic rock/metal/southern rock...but it's freaking great and it's LOUD. Excellent show! Bonus that Clemson won, but I didn't know it until an explosion of texts as I was driving home from the Tipsy Burro. I guess it's one of those cases where those newfangled cars that read texts to you come in handy.
Saturday, a couple of extra-long hikes with the pup, some leaf raking/blowing, and cooked up a nice spread for Saturday night supper. Bonus that the coots made national news with an epic fail. Flipped through some games Saturday night and crashed at a decent hour.
Sunday, lots of relaxing. Watched the Panties and Falcons, which was a disappointing outcome. Not an ATL fan, but between Tepper and a 53-man roster that is made up of 10% coots...it's become very easy to hate those rat bassers without even trying. I was hoping they would lose every game and move to Anchorage at the end of the season. Headed up to the Thirsty Beaver early for the Waymores. A great band behind them, and Kira and Willie might be the most entertaining husband and wife duo since Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. Fantastic show, as always.
190/19 Covids.

Friday - took the day off, so long run, gym time and then mowed grass and raked leaves. Watched Clemson finally look like a football team.
Saturday - up early for daughter's swim meet. Long 4 hours of attending that, then I basically watched college football and played with the kids. Went to the Red Wings game that night, had a lot of drinks, good times were had even though the lost after a 4-1 lead.
Sunday - up early again for swim meet. Kids were playing with friends, so wife and I took worlds longest naps, like 11am-2pm. Did absolutely nothing else but watch football and it was glorious.
8/10 - -2 points because I felt so terrible for my daughter when she did a false start and got disqualified.

Friday - work worked until 6. Ran an errand. Got home and had takeout Indian food. Watched the Tigers for 3 quarters.
Saturday - woke to the surprising news of our victory. Work worked. Then went to church for a fall workday. Then ran an errand or two. Then the missus and I went to our favorite brewpub where they were having a celebration of life for our outgoing minor league baseball team mascot (long but funny story). Then came home, had another beer, early to bed.
Sunday - offended people about Ken Burns, church, another frikkin errand, apologized in Ken Burns Civil War style, then made the mistake of starting some cleaning around the house. Three hours and two busted knuckles later I finally stopped. House looks good but the Sabbath is made for rest. Talked to the fam for weekly calls. Watched a little NFL. Fell asleep watching the American Revolution.
Back at it today and off to Philly again on Friday. Then a way off schedule Thanksgiving week.

Sat - Installed new security cameras with DVR, pain in nutz. Went to friend's house for yard games based on simulated outdoor activities and had wild game for dinner (gator, deer, wild hog).
Sun - Church, Thanksgiving at Mom's (got fat), church, cleaned up the house.

Friday was payday + last quarter productivity bonus/make right day so that was nice. Worked on my truck some, picked up an antique china cabinet my wife bought off FB from some sketch storage unit in Gilbert. Saturday & Sunday no big plans so mostly just piddled around the house scratching stuff off the to do list, hung out at friends house Sat PM, me and my radiologist buddy dominated beer pong. Yesterday did my grocery shopping and smoked some ribs, they were cheap as hell and BOGO, can’t argue w that price.

Clemson watch party Friday night was fun, had to get home a little early because....
Left early Saturday morning to go to Greensboro, NC for a soccer tourney. I don't understand Greensboro, no clue why it even exists. There is nothing there of interest. Middle kid tied game one and lost game two, youngest lost both of their games. Coach said eff it with Middle son's team and pulled him out of Goalie to play in the field, apparently he did well, but I was watching the youngest. Their team has struggled all year to produce goals. They have zero subs and can't score, so they usually just give up a couple late goals to lose games. Went to Steelhands Brewing for dinner then to hotel room.
Up Sunday for more soccer. Middle son got to field and ended up playing striker the whole game. Played REALLY well, made great progressive passes from the midfield to move them forward and had two goals. They won 3-2 against a team who hadn't been scored on yet in the tourney. He was buzzing. Youngest's team lost again, played really well, played a fancy team from Virginia who had nasty parents. They took 80% of the sideline and so we had parents on either end, they yelled at the refs and influenced the game. Apparently they tried to start a fight with one of our hothead parents, he is a loser anyways, would have love to seen the fight. Drove home from Greensboro.
Todd Snider died, that sucked a big one Gamecocks played amazing, until they didn't, which was great. Panthers won My Fantasy Team almost hit 200 points, best week so far.

Friday and then stood up the whole game. Had some pretty sweet seats right over the clemson tunnel.
Tigers almost beat tigers but then birds with teeth beat birds with teeth.
Hit 3 distillery tours and 10 distillery shops over the weekend. Took about 69 years off of my liver.

Thursday: BT gift shop had EH Taylor out that day but I passed because I have one at home that Father G® gave me. They also had Traveller (the Chris Stapleton collab) and I tasted it but passed. For the tailgate I picked up a standard Sazerac and a BT. Ended up not cracking them cause Friend-of opened his EH Taylor at the tailgate which we promptly destroyed, along with several others that our group had open.
Went to Woodford Reserve and didn't see anything interesting. Passed on the $1500 pour of Baccarat Derby 150th LOL.
Then had a really cool distiller led tasting and tour at a teeny place called Glenn's Creek who is set up in part of the old Old Crow Distillery. Got a couple bottles there and he signed them (Crimson Crow Bourbon made with red corn, and a Flippin the Bird bourbon).
Friday we started with a tour and tasting @ Old Forestor. It was nice but they didn't have anything for sale I can't get at home.
Then we walked to shops at a bunch of places on whiskey row. Mostly just gawked but at Pursuit we did a flight and I decided to get a couple of their Triple Mash Ryes (an 88 and a 108). Pretty neat stuff and I am a sucker for Rye.
Saturday we drove to Bardstown and stopped at Jim Beam, Bardstown Distillery and Heaven Hill. At that point I had 6 bottles in the bag and probably 3 more in my liver so I just window shopped. But we did have a very nice lunch and drinks at Bardstown.

Saturday we awoke to find out that son of's little ####### friend that lives down the road decided to go on a bender throughout the night with them when we thought they were asleep. Gatorade and soda EVERYWHERE. Had to clean out fridges, freezers, shampoo the carpet. Was a complete mess. Dad of little ####### laughed it off and says it happens all the time at their house.
Little ####### is not coming back to my house. And big ####### dad couldn't understand why.
Saturday finally got the creak out of the floor in the addition.
Sunday didn't do jack #### all day.

Fri - did parent lunch at school with the little one as mentioned previously. We had let our condo get messy, so spent the better part of the day getting it right. We cleaned and cleaned, and then we cleaned some more. Watched a bad football team make a bunch of mistakes yet somehow inexplicably win a football game. There may not be any quit in the team, and there may not be any quit in the coach, but that team stinks and the gamecocks will beat the crap out of us.
Sat - realized little one has made it 10 years on this earth and never had biscuits and sausage gravy, so off to the store I go. She loved it. Cleaned some more, can't remember exactly what all we did, a little bit of everything I guess, but whatever it was took the better part of all day. Seems like there was more to it, but can't recall. College football on all day.
Sun - took little one to Waffle House, had the all-star breakfast (brought the pecan waffle home). Quick run to Home Depot for super glue, ended up replacing all of the felt on the bottom of dining table and chairs. Super glued them into place instead of using the self adhesive stuff on the back of the felt like before. Hopefully this helps them stay in place instead of squishing out to the side. NFL football on the tv all day. Watched Philly take down the Eagles, Dan Campbell is a little over the top with the going for it on 4th down stuff. Should have taken the field goal with 5 minutes left in the 3rd, but what do I care? I'm obligated to pull for the Eagles since wife is a Philly native, and the Panthers and Falcons suck (again, and forever). Tired af, fell asleep before the game was over. Up at 3:15 for some d>amn reason, and here we are.

Wait...never had sausage gravey & biscuits and 10 yrs old in SC?!?
Thats like close to abuse, definitely neglect...I kid.
Little Pabst, during da vid, found a small dinner in and around where she lived in LA. Saw some elderly folks in there. LSS she became a celebrity of sorts making Great Grandma Pabst from scratch biscuits and made white or sausage gravey...then got wild with canned salmon and eggs.
Those elderly folks loved her

Friday: uh...think I drank part of a 30mg seltzer and made the game even more challenging to watch than it already was. The last 5-7 minutes seemed like the end of about 8 games stitched together. I kept looking up, and the game was still on, and somebody else had a chance to win a game that I sweatergod was over 10 minutes ago.
Saturday: not much, saw a few frans in the evening, home at a reasonable time, up way too late.
Sunday: 19She had a birthday party to go to, the kind where she might be there for an hour and a half and bail, or the kind where I might get a text at 7pm last night (like I did, after 5 hours of her there) saying "gonna be a while". The texts got progressively more nonsensical, and I finally went to pick her up at 9:30ish, quite sloshed. Then got taken advantage of, so silver linings and such.

Fri.: Had pizza with family. Listened to our game on the radio. I have no clue how we won that game but I'll sure take it. Maybe Clemson will make it to the Birmingham Bowl. Stayed up too late. B+.
Sat.: Wifeof worked. Took kids to the zoo and they had a blast. Chores, football, and outside time in the afternoon. Night time Costco run. Dropped $600+. Just lol. Dinner was hot dogs and mac & cheese. Stayed up too late. A.
Sun.: Wifeof worked again. Church and church related activities took up the morning. The kids took long naps so I got some rest and some chores done. Dinner was grilled chicken, broccoli, rolls, and fried green tomatoes. Not too shabby. A.
Today: I need to buckle down and get some dang work done.

I just went by feel and it turned out great. TWSS.
I mixed yellow corn meal with flour. Maybe 2:1 meal to flour. I mixed in some cajun seasoning to add flavor.
I sliced the tomatoes about a half inch thick. Dredged each slice in the flour mixture, dipped in egg/buttermilk, and then back into the flour. I fried it over medium/medium high heat in the cast iron skillet. I used a mix of olive oil and butter because we were out of veg./peanut oil (this was left off the Costco list, unfortunately).
Flipped them once and pulled them when done. Let them drain on a rack with paper towels and served hot. They were good on their own but I also used some of that Costco fry/dipping sauce as a poor man's remoulade. Very tasty.

Friday - work, then TL Hanna playoff game. Good guys won big over Greenville High. Daughter living best life in student section. Watched some of our game on phone at the game then got home in time to watch the end of our game that no one wanted to win.
Saturday - up early for daughter's lacrosse tourney in Anderson. She just started playing a few months ago and is doing well. This was her second tourny and they won the 1st one in Charlotte 2 weeks ago. This one was a 7v7 format, which is kind of like half court bb. She did well - played mostly defense and a little as midy. She scored her 1st goal taking in coast to coast, so that was cool. Was a beautiful day and was fun collectively watching the gamecocks fold during the day with other Clemson folk. I was exhausted, as was daughter after playing 5 games in one day. Got home and passed out with Okal/Bama game on in background.
Sunday - pretty lazy - fantasy team won - Steelers won - did some chorin'

Friday night-Drank beer at Goldbug Island Turkey shoot--shot 5x, won a turkey. First time I have ever shot this gun--it was one of my fathers that's been in a closet since the early 90's. Prob will go back this week. Left and finished up watching the Clemson game at the Southern.
Slept all day Saturday, then did nothing all night.
Put a TV in my garage Sunday. Washed my truck and the 4runner. Drank too much beer in my garage last night, went to bed and listened to an audio book until I fell asleep.

Friday - Got home and pounded a drink to get ready for oldest at home's play. Was proud of him because two weeks ago he got offered a regional commercial for Biltmore that was going to pay almost 5 figures, but he turned it down because he was obligated to be in this school production. Turns out, maybe he should have gone for the cash. Play sucked and he was probably fourth on the call sheet (first time he hasn't been one or two since he his second year doing youth productions at the local theatre). The actors were fine, but the play was awful. Wife of bailed early to take the 7 year old home as she was sleeping in the seats. I had to do the greet the kid thing with mom before running her home and hitting fast food that we didn't get to eat until like 10pm. Watched basically the fourth quarter of the Clemson game, felt not much more than a sense of relief after. Bed late.
Saturday, slept a little late, then wife of started putting out Christmas stuff and I watched some football and resurfaced my neglected griddle and cleaned up the deck/patio area. Watched the dogs favorite game, where the husky flies around the yard making frequent strafing runs by the shepherd mix while the shepherd mix looks stressed out and tries to get to the deck. Watched more football, went to the grocery store, cooked some stir fry on the griddle that turned out fantastic*, had some drinks, seduced wife, watched some SNL and then bed.
Sunday, inexplicably up at 6:30ish, piddled around the house until wife and 7 year old woke up, made omelets. sausage and pancakes on the griddle and then cleaned the crap out of the kitchen. Got on a roll and washed, dried, sanded and re-oiled my butcher block cutting board, scraped/polished the cooktop and watched wife and 7 year old put ornaments on the keeping room Christmas tree. Oldest at home slept pretty late, had an attitude all day about tree being decorated without him. Wife slowly started matching the attitude and a tense afternoon was had by all. Made Sam's hatch enchiladas for dinner with some black beans I concocted on the side. (Quarter onion, sauteed, add three cloves garlic and a tablespoon of cumin (HAHAHAHA) til fragrant, add a can of black beans and a half cup of cilantro, simmer til melded and added a dollop of sour cream right before serving) It turned out purty good. Bed early, woke up at 4am (####).
*(thin sliced bottom round coated with corn starch and lime juice and let sit for about two hours to tenderize, cut up some broccoli, onions and carrots and tossed them in a little bit of Kinder's Japanese bar-b-q sauce and let them marinate for a while, fired up griddle and cooked the meat on one side and veggies on the other. Got a good sear on the meat, which was key to the taste. Tossed everything in some more sauce and served over rice) Any leftovers were gone by 1:00 pm the next day, would recommend.

Friday - watched the Tiger's sneak by Loserville.
Saturday - Did some bidding on Pristine Auctions and won some memorabilia. To include a Dan Marino signed jersey, an Etienne signed helmet, and a Bon Jovie signed guitar.

That also reminds me of the time some friends of mine did an opening set for another band as Barn Jovi, and played bluegrass covers of Bon Jovi songs.

Friday - made the fam shrimp alfredo. Went to Clemson Club viewing party. Why y'all so down? We found a way to beat a ranked team on the road and our defense no longer gives up 40 a game. Go Tigers! Went to close down bar w/Clemson friends. So much easier when you only have to do one shot because your team is offensively challenged
Saturday - napping and football dayside. Took other MSynan out to dinner. She wanted Bonefish Grill. One star, it was awful with a capital A. Sent entree back and all. Even with it removed from bill, still spent $100. Home for more football. Haha Coots
Sunday - got in 36 of Golden Tee, shot poorly. Watched lots of football and made jambalaya. Caught the first 30 of Ken Burns. Will watch more tonight
17/19 COVIDS -1 for no live music and -1 for poor dinner. Will fix Friday by going to a show
