He noticed a kid was having an attitude problem so he sat a former 5-star true freshman and got the problem resolved.

He tested positive for weed. Mandatory 1 half suspension for 1st offense. Dabo made his point by going beyond the required suspension. I hope the kid learns quick.

He's actually right. Sucks but he learned his lesson trust me. He's a good guy. Met him and his mom after the BC game. Very nice people. But yes this is true sadly.

if you think Dabo would give him just a one game suspension for that, you are nuts. He would not have even traveled with to Miami. We have enough WR's to win without him. Don't get me wrong, he is good, but that is not Dabo's style. But nice try with your lie

He is correct about the positive test. I thought about it and it makes sense what Dabo did. Bring him to Miami and then make him sit. Watching his teammates in person probably had a much bigger effect than just chilling in the dorm. Good on Dabo and Cain will be just fine I think. Freshmen move. Glad it was fixed.

Testing positive and being caught with it in your possession are two different things. It was a mandatory one half suspension for a first offense. So he could have played. Dabo chose to let him watch. Let's hope he learned his lesson.

suspensions don't occur until the second instance, here's it straight from the student athlete handbook:
"First Offense
A positive test result or admission of drugs use will have the following consequences:
Student-athlete will participate in a conference telephone call with head coach, Associate Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Services and parent(s) or legal guardian(s) at which time the consequences of a positive test result will be reviewed.
Student-athlete will be required to attend a mandatory substance-abuse evaluation and education session conducted by a professional counselor who is provided by CUAD. Student-athlete will be subject to frequent unannounced retesting as determined by athletics administration and/or head coach.
Second Offense
Student-athlete will participate in a conference telephone call with head coach, Associate Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Services and parent(s) or legal guardian(s) at which time the consequences of a positive test result will be reviewed.
Student-athlete will be suspended for 10% of the team’s contests. Contests used to satisfy this penalty must be conducted in the championship segment of the team’s season. Postseason competition may be used to satisfy this requirement and the suspension will carry over to the following season if necessary. In cases where 10% results in a fraction of a contest, standard rounding practices will be used to determine the sanction (e.g., 1.7 is rounded up to 2).
Third Offense
If a third positive test or admission of guilt occurs, it must be assumed that the student-athlete has a very significant problem or has made some conscious value judgment as to his or her behavior. The third offense will dictate a dismissal from the team and nonrenewal of financial aid."

Because of the way they act/carry themselves. I didn't see our players shooting "invisible UZI'S " back at them. Ghetto IMO

This kid looks REALLY REALLY TALENTED!!! But I'd like to tell him to look up Kyrin Priester, Mike Bellamy, Ebenezir Ogundeko, and Chad Kelly... Endless possibilities but didn't have what it took to be great at Clemson... Either on the field or in the classroom, they've got to realize their time will come and they just need to FOCUS!!!!

we don't need to lose another talented WR due to off the field issues. Kid is going to be huge for us if he stays focused. Hoping this is a one time mistake and that he has learned his lesson and will be ready to go Saturday against the pack.

LOL Why does everyone seem to think it was more than it was? It wasnt drug related, it was an "attitude adjustment". Seems like there may have been some talking or missed a team meeting or something like that. Cain was standing behind Dabo a lot of the game, enjoying the win just like everyone else. Cain will be ready for NCState.

that you aren't concerned one way or another whether Cain learns a lesson based on the sole fact that you're a card-carrying coot.
