the last five years...the talent is there! At the same time we have lost Jeff Scott and Brent V. Is it not logical to say that we might have coaching problems?

It's also the same time DJ began starting.
Do you remember when Kelly Bryant was our starter and the talk was that we could win the acc with him, but bot in the playoffs? Remember when TL helped us open up the playbook and make throws and plays that KB simply couldn't do?
It's kind of a similar scenario, except I believe Kelly Bryant was better than dj

The difference is that CK has not shown one iota of evidence that he will be an upgrade at QB.
He is certainly NOT TL at this point.

The difference is that CK has not shown one iota of evidence that he will be an upgrade at QB.
He is certainly NOT TL at this point.
So what, he hasn't had a chance, they tossed him in against a 7-8 man front operating out of the endzone and asked him to make something happen. He needs reps with the 1's, in practice and games. For da#m sure he will not get better sitting on the bench. He at least has another 2-3 years to help us.

Notre Dame, per the 247 composite rankings is the 10th best team in the country. Believing that, as an unranked team, we had some major talent advantage and would simply out talent them is the kind of “rat poison” Saban rails about.

^^^This!! We went nationwide in recruiting to spread the paw around when we have always been in fertile ground in the Southeast and a few linemen from the NE or MW. Feel like we chased some star guys that might not be 5-star heart guys with a 3 star rating.

Saw article where around 8 of that recruiting are not available to play any longer. 5 of them have jumped to portal and 3 of them are on some type of probation issues for breaking team rules. So obviously just because they are 5 star dont mean they wont be a cancer on the team also.

Remember......there is a transfer portal that they can go through almost instantly. Hardly any is coming through to be with us. The Dr. Pepper players get more than us.
