I'm glad you didn't make CJ one of the options because then I would have actually had to think about it.

but Terry was more fluid and equally eye-opening when he galloped loose down the field.
Saw both which was a treat & privilege.

I THINK that the only time Terry Allen fumbled was on the play that he got hurt.

Great questions and tough call. Two different style offenses, but I would lean to ETN.

Terry Allen. Dude tore his ACL in both knees and still played at a pro bowl level.
Besides it's early yet for this comparison. ETN is just now getting rolling
After 5 years let's revisit

to come by. The dude was just a player. As a pure Rb, Allen was better than CJ. But ETN is right there, no doubt about it.

Terry Allen was one of my favorites too. One of the first games I remember watching on TV was Clemson at FSU, 1989. Terry had some good TDs that game, including an awesome breakaway run for a TD.
Here are some highlights form that glorious game: https://youtu.be/JEX3sc9htlQ?feature=shared

That didn't look like a "nice to see you again" chat.

and leg drive of Travis. He did make the most of his gifts, though, and had a good NFL career.

Terry Allen. Probably my favorite game of all time was when he single-handedly took Clemson down the field on a long & final drive vs GA at Clemson. Inside or outside - it didn't matter. A smaller Bary Sanders. CJ was probably the best outside but was outside only. Flowers & Flagler were outstanding outside also. Ellington was the best inside followed by Ship. Will Shipley is the best at making something out of nothing.
